EXT. FLINT MICHIGAN
Trixie exits the rental car she's purchased. Sunglasses on, her low heels clack on the sidewalk as she walks around the corner towards the courtyard of the building she's heading for. Brushing her hair back with her hand, she spies the lion statue outside the building.
The building stands six stories high with a penthouse on the top. The building built in the form of a "J", with the side attachment being the school, the tower the accommodation for students and the top being the penthouse. Trixie walks towards the glass doors, opening the left of the double doors to step inside.
CUT TO:
INT. J BUILDING - LOBBY
As her heel stands on the cushioned carpet she looks to the right at the small bar available. A cupboard like room with two stools and a bar behind it before looking to the wide double doors. A fade on them to make the glass behind it complete opaque.
She heads towards the doors and opens them, feeling the cooler air immediately as if she was native to this building, Trixie looks at the lobby lockers. Opening one door, inside goes her phone, her keys, and then her entire handbag as she locks it, knowing one of the codes of the room was no distractions.
CUT TO:
INT. J BUILDING - WRESTLING SCHOOL
As Trixie steps in, she spots the wrestling ring where a familiar blonde to her story was inside, soaking up the eyes of the students and performs a rolling snapmare to someone. Trixie smirks in a distasteful way at the move, seeing it as her signature move when she was a rookie, which nobody else in the school used.
Irish Student:
"Aren't you a sight for sore eyes. Tricksey, how've ya been?”
"Aren't you a sight for sore eyes. Tricksey, how've ya been?”
Trixie turns to see the Irish student she'd trained with months ago in the summer. Still wearing his tracksuit top, bottoms and baseball cap, Trixie extends the hug.
TRIXIE:
"Hey, Murph!”
"Hey, Murph!”
Trixie breaks from the hug and looks him over.
TRIXIE:
"Still wearing this I see?”
"Still wearing this I see?”
Murphy:
"Yep. Think I'm slowly, you know, getting t'is look as synced with me as I can. How have you been?”
"Yep. Think I'm slowly, you know, getting t'is look as synced with me as I can. How have you been?”
Man (O.S):
"Murphy! What the hell you doing chitchatting. Jobbers chat, winners work. Back to the routine.”
"Murphy! What the hell you doing chitchatting. Jobbers chat, winners work. Back to the routine.”
Trixie looks to the man who called out. Tall at 6'3, a black afro with olive skin and a very thick, full beard watching from the ropes with his head crooked around to spot them.
Murphy:
"Gotta go. We'll catch up a little later, yeah?”
"Gotta go. We'll catch up a little later, yeah?”
TRIXIE:
"Sure thing, Murph. Go before you get into trouble.”
"Sure thing, Murph. Go before you get into trouble.”
He heads off past Trixie only to realize it was the wrong way to the Smith machine for his work out. Again he crosses Trixie looking back at her as he passes and points like a t-rex dinosaur.
Murphy:
"…Going this way…”
"…Going this way…”
Which she finds adorable.
Jackie Stang:
"Jugs! Boots on, in the ring.”
"Jugs! Boots on, in the ring.”
He says calling her the old name she was given and you had to lose in the school, earning your real name was part of the training as a metaphor to making your name known in the business. She changes out of her heels into some wrestling boots while the training goes on in the ring.
Trixie does notice the man with the afro, Jackie, scratching at his head as he walks around, not impressed with a first timer having trouble keeping to the regime Trixie herself would have to be at.
Slowly she gets herself in the ring and spots the blonde she caught earlier.
TRIXIE:
"Hilary…”
"Hilary…”
Hilary Allen:
"Trixie…”
"Trixie…”
The two women say locking eyes. Trixie not forgiving her for the destruction of her bracelet, as well as their untold history between them. Hilary's swagger felt like she owned the school ring now.
Jackie Stang:
"Cut the shit, ladies. Trix, you got any injuries I should know about?”
"Cut the shit, ladies. Trix, you got any injuries I should know about?”
And Trixie hikes up her top to show the big, black bruising on her back still from the steel cage fall. Something she obviously never showed off publicly to try and enforce an invisible status.
TRIXIE:
"Just this one.”
"Just this one.”
Hilary Allen:
"Looks like someone had a great fall, physically and career wise.”
"Looks like someone had a great fall, physically and career wise.”
Making Trixie turn around with no smile, no glimmer of happiness in her eyes. Strict daggers for Hilary and biting her tongue.
TRIXIE:
"I'm just trying to get back on track.”
"I'm just trying to get back on track.”
Jackie Stang:
"And you will. This will be a tune up unlike any other tune up.”
"And you will. This will be a tune up unlike any other tune up.”
TRIXIE:
"I'm ready.”
"I'm ready.”
Hilary Allen:
"To wrestle or..,you know…?.”
"To wrestle or..,you know…?.”
And Stang cracks into Hilary with a superkick into her stomach. Powerful enough to knock the blonde over onto her ass as she holds her gut with both hands, tensing her eyes from the move that squashed her stomach. She's lucky she didn't throw up.
Jackie Stang:
"Code 4. In the ring, It's wrestl-ing. Shit like that, accusations like that ain't worth a dime in Stang Style. You're done for the day, get out.”
"Code 4. In the ring, It's wrestl-ing. Shit like that, accusations like that ain't worth a dime in Stang Style. You're done for the day, get out.”
Trixie stands silent impressed by the fact he stuck up for her for the comments and what she was clearly referring to. Slightly wishing she could have landed it on Hilary but she knew she was here in Stang Style Central to brush up on the style generally unknown to the wrestling world. Hilary took herself out of the ring with a quick walk, fuming about getting ejected evident by how hard she pushes the door open.
TRIXIE:
"Why train her? I've always wondered.”
"Why train her? I've always wondered.”
Jackie Stang:
"And those shitty wonderings are why you're falling. Code 8.”
"And those shitty wonderings are why you're falling. Code 8.”
He says to her not reciting it and leaves Trixie to look at the wall with all the codes of Stang Style listed. Number eight read
TRIXIE
(RECEITING):
"Unless it is a tag team match, the focus is on me.”
(RECEITING):
"Unless it is a tag team match, the focus is on me.”
Jackie Stang:
"Why?”
"Why?”
Trixie sees him fold her arms, it did really feel like school as she was challenged on the subject intellectually.
TRIXIE:
"Because the fans do the following, we do the leading.”
"Because the fans do the following, we do the leading.”
Jackie Stang:
"The only reason we watch other talent is for weakness in their game, to understand the looming threat because in wrestling…”
"The only reason we watch other talent is for weakness in their game, to understand the looming threat because in wrestling…”
TRIXIE:
"Expect to fight everyone.”
"Expect to fight everyone.”
Trixie says exhaling. How different her teaching was to Honey whom didn't expect to every draw friends as opponents.
Jackie Stang:
"And expect to be backstabbed…”
"And expect to be backstabbed…”
All Trixie did to that comment was nod and look over to Murphy as he just finishes his set.
TRIXIE:
"I want to be better, I want to reclaim my lost titles, I made this list of opponents to face…here...”
"I want to be better, I want to reclaim my lost titles, I made this list of opponents to face…here...”
Trixie pulls out the NGW List written down as it was. Stang looks over it to see two names left on it.
TRIXIE:
"Tillman at the top thinks I'm not serious about the sport. I want to be molded into a legit competitor.”
"Tillman at the top thinks I'm not serious about the sport. I want to be molded into a legit competitor.”
Jackie Stang:
"No, a legit fucking threat. McGuiness! Get in the ring…Now!”
"No, a legit fucking threat. McGuiness! Get in the ring…Now!”
Stang calls out to Murphy who jogs along quickly. Trixie smiles at him as he gets in but in an instant, Stang drop toe holds him so he lands on the middle rope ready for a 619 but Stang is already back on his feet and rushes in to superkick Murphy in the back of the head, simultaneously choking him on the ring ropes.
Jackie Stang:
"That's Stang Style. Unconventional wrestling moves from out of nowhere.”
"That's Stang Style. Unconventional wrestling moves from out of nowhere.”
Murphy falls flat on his back in a daze. The move technically an illegal move but as Trixie looks to the codes of Stang Style, she sees Code #11: Bring the Unexpected.
The next time is spent doing something she hadn't done in a long time. She sat next to Murphy and very far away from Hilary in a line together watching the television match between Jackie and his long time and good friend Chaz Fisher. Everyone had notes as Jackie took a punch from Chaz and chops Chaz back. Most if not all pro wrestlers chopped the chest but Trixie watches Jackie's knife's edge chop cut into Chaz's neck. This earns him a warning from the referee while Stang palm strikes the side of Chaz's neck, fighting very unorthodox compared to other pro wrestlers. Fisher goes down to his knees gasping for air as any man would, but it leaves him open to something all Stang Style students were fortune tellers at predicting. Stang knocks out his friend with a superkick to the back of the head and scores the victory.
On everyone's notepad were codes written down in the order they saw. Trixie wrote code 1 for the last. Superkick everything. Code 2 was above it. Get up fast or you don't last. But Chaz stands up and though he'd been on the receiving end of quite heelish tactics throughout the match, Chaz and Jackie shake hands after the match. Trixie looks to the only code banner on the wall in gold, unlike the others in orange. Code 13, Stang's favorite number. A true friend shakes your hand no matter what.
Stang walks past Trixie as she writes it down at the very end, a returning student's advantage, it wasn't her first time watching the tape.
Jackie Stang:
"When I step in the ring with any of you. You're throwing punches where you get a thumb to the eye. You're hacking into my ankle with a fine stomp. You're trying to pull my arm off with the ring post. And I give it back, I expect that code fulfilled.”
"When I step in the ring with any of you. You're throwing punches where you get a thumb to the eye. You're hacking into my ankle with a fine stomp. You're trying to pull my arm off with the ring post. And I give it back, I expect that code fulfilled.”
Stang points to the code on the wall.
Jackie Stang:
"Now fuck off the lot of ya.”
"Now fuck off the lot of ya.”
Trixie rolls her eyes at the class dismissal. Everyone stands up to collect their things and head into the lobby to take the stairs. Through all the students heading out, one comes in, being the man from the tape. Chaz. Stang spots him and shakes his head.
Jackie Stang:
"You're late.”
"You're late.”
Chaz Fisher:
"Don't exactly have no car to get around.”
"Don't exactly have no car to get around.”
He gives Trixie a wink.
Chaz Fisher:
"Hey Trixcity.”
"Hey Trixcity.”
TRIXIE:
"Hey Chaz, where have you been?”
"Hey Chaz, where have you been?”
Trixie says noting it had been so long since Chaz had seen her.
Chaz Fisher:
"Here and there, Bad Kitty. After the whole Sinistar Tres gimmick dropped. Slim pickings.”
"Here and there, Bad Kitty. After the whole Sinistar Tres gimmick dropped. Slim pickings.”
Trixie nods. She knew he referred to her tenure in So-Cal Ultraviolent where Chaz put a mask on, the promotion had Sinistar, Sinistar II so Chaz robbed their history by working as Sinistar Tres in california independents. Unfortunately with the closure obviously came less demand for the character.
TRIXIE:
"Please tell me that you saved your money this time.”
"Please tell me that you saved your money this time.”
Trixie says as a part shopaholic. But Chaz…
Chaz Fisher:
"I thought I was hitting the good life, Trixcity, I thought I was. But these damn promotions won't keep their lights on for more than a blink.”
"I thought I was hitting the good life, Trixcity, I thought I was. But these damn promotions won't keep their lights on for more than a blink.”
Jackie Stang:
"Is that a dig at me?”
"Is that a dig at me?”
Chaz Fisher:
"Nah. But it leaves old Chazmatazz in quite a deep hole with some So-Cal ultraviolent people and no income.”
"Nah. But it leaves old Chazmatazz in quite a deep hole with some So-Cal ultraviolent people and no income.”
TRIXIE:
"Have you been gambling what little you had to pay it back?”
"Have you been gambling what little you had to pay it back?”
Trixie says with a look of concern. She knew her friend, she'd known him since working together in early 2016 and his shrug made her heart go to her throat and eyes close in despair.
Chaz Fisher:
"Roulette's a bitch, what can I say?”
"Roulette's a bitch, what can I say?”
Another shrug that lifts Chaz's t-shirt over his hips and Trixie spies a different shade to his olive toned skin. She walks up to him and lifts it, seeing severe bruising all the way up his hip and back. The other side wasn't any better.
TRIXIE:
(CONCERNED)
"Chaz”
(CONCERNED)
"Chaz”
His male ego didn't drop as he simply shrugs.
Chaz Fisher:
"These guys don't seem to get I gotta be healthy to rake in some dough.”
"These guys don't seem to get I gotta be healthy to rake in some dough.”
She gulps at the thought of danger her friend was in.
Jackie Stang:
"That's the other reason I wanted you here. Chaz is gonna place a bet.”
"That's the other reason I wanted you here. Chaz is gonna place a bet.”
TRIXIE:
(ADAMANTLY)
"No! Absolutely totally not!”
(ADAMANTLY)
"No! Absolutely totally not!”
Trixie says holding the shirt up to show Jackie the damage betting has gotten Chaz into.
Chaz Fisher:
"Hear him out, Trixcity.”
"Hear him out, Trixcity.”
Jackie Stang:
"Your PPV match coming up. Odds for you to win are quite shit, people seem to think you're a sure fire thing so the pay-out is abysmal.”
"Your PPV match coming up. Odds for you to win are quite shit, people seem to think you're a sure fire thing so the pay-out is abysmal.”
TRIXIE:
"Well I'm planning on winning, so it will earn you a little bit of money then.”
"Well I'm planning on winning, so it will earn you a little bit of money then.”
Trixie says to a pause as she looks between her two friends.
Chaz Fisher:
"But the odds for you losing the match with such hype to Trixie Tillman, there's a big pay day.”
"But the odds for you losing the match with such hype to Trixie Tillman, there's a big pay day.”
TRIXIE:
"You want me to lose? I can give you the money, the boss has enough to fill the hole you're in and build a five star resort on it.”
"You want me to lose? I can give you the money, the boss has enough to fill the hole you're in and build a five star resort on it.”
Chaz Fisher:
"No. No cash from him or you whatsoever. I don't want that kind of a paper trail leading to the, er, ultraviolent people I owe. Let's just say, we don't wanna put any lights on them. Once they get their money, me and them-”
"No. No cash from him or you whatsoever. I don't want that kind of a paper trail leading to the, er, ultraviolent people I owe. Let's just say, we don't wanna put any lights on them. Once they get their money, me and them-”
Chaz shakes his hand flat against his neck back and forth to sign cutting at the neck.
Chaz Fisher:
"We never gonna tango again.”
"We never gonna tango again.”
TRIXIE:
"Well...”
"Well...”
Trixie says crossing her arms and poking her tongue out between her lips to think about it.
TRIXIE:
"How much do you have to wager?”
"How much do you have to wager?”
Jackie Stang:
"Not enough, Trix, not enough. That's why I'm placing a wager myself to make sure Chaz has enough to pay back those bastard shits.”
"Not enough, Trix, not enough. That's why I'm placing a wager myself to make sure Chaz has enough to pay back those bastard shits.”
Trixie watches as Jackie comes closer to her. His 6'3 height towering over her 5'6 and she caught the full aroma of his cologne.
Jackie Stang:
"I don't bet on chance. I bet on guarantee.”
"I don't bet on chance. I bet on guarantee.”
TRIXIE:
"So I should just lay down?”
"So I should just lay down?”
Stang licks his bottom lip and leans in to see if he heard it wrong. Crossing his arms, he shakes his head in outrageous disapproval.
Jackie Stang:
"Fuck no. You make that brunette earn that shot. You go into that ring and you legit make an impact. Let her walk out knowing she could have very well ended up with her eyeballs dangling out of her head because you superkicked her too hard in the back of the head.”
"Fuck no. You make that brunette earn that shot. You go into that ring and you legit make an impact. Let her walk out knowing she could have very well ended up with her eyeballs dangling out of her head because you superkicked her too hard in the back of the head.”
Chaz Fisher:
"Or made her head spin because of the fastball punch. Either or.”
"Or made her head spin because of the fastball punch. Either or.”
She does laugh. Not at her friend Jazmyn being some horror story but how the two were imposing with their respective finishers.
TRIXIE:
"I still have to do a video for it.”
"I still have to do a video for it.”
Chaz Fisher:
"Let's see you fool some people, Trixcity. Might even get better odds if you kill it.”
"Let's see you fool some people, Trixcity. Might even get better odds if you kill it.”
Jackie Stang:
"Use the room over there. And lock up when you're done.”
"Use the room over there. And lock up when you're done.”
Trixie says seeing Stang toss Chaz the keys as he takes his leave. Chaz was far, far better with the techy stuff than Trixie ever was. She heads with him into the small studio room students used to practice promos and stands before the camera. She takes a deep breath to think about what to say, it was all a shock to her but she

Trixie stood with a towel around her neck, the denim jacket on with sunglasses, her attire she'd moved to in wrestling brought with her on the trip. Standing before the camera not defiantly but with her left foot forward which was unusual for Trixie. Her left side more featured.
TRIXIE:
"To be number one contender is something special. To be Champion is much more. When this match was supposed to happen before, it was one of two. Jazmyn Rain didn't attend our match before, and not under her own power either.
I don't know why but for some reason, Jack Tillman gets his way here in NGW. I don't really know why Devlin hasn't put a stop to him getting into the Genesis Title picture, passing all the worthy and deserving contenders. Now he did it again, and there's not been a single enquiry about it. It's down to one thing.
It's down to the Prime Angels to do the honest work. Do something Jack Tillman never does in NGW, Redemption, despite his claims to be about real competition…Earn it. I'm aware of who is in front of me and I'm capable of superkicking them down as I walk past them to the title throne. Jazmyn has made herself Heavyweight Champion elsewhere and it only makes me have to fight that much harder. I've beaten NGW Heavyweight Champion Yujiro, the man who defeated Matt Shields on a few occasions.”

Trixie says with a slight tilt of her head, knowing Jazmyn had taken a kendo stick like Trixie had that very same weekend which cost Trixie the lusted after victory over her new rival in wrestling after Anton Chase. Looking down at her sides, where the bruises from her cage match were not visible but someone else's bruises were on her mind. But she proceeded.
TRIXIE:
"NGW right now seems like the Destroyers are running the place. Attack after attack. Bullying their way into everything they want to. There doesn't seem to be a consequence for a single action. Tillman still hasn't paid the price for the Genesis Title fiasco nor the attack on Jazmyn. Where I come from, Tillman gets suspended, not rewarded. If this hypocrite gets to stand as our champion and Joshua Goldstein doesn't win it back to right the wrong. I will.
I will step in the ring with the brute and endure whatever. Because I want order and I want redemption for what he's done so far. Every action has a reaction. Every crime has a consequence under Trixie Law and this man is looming to pay. Jazmyn totally has her own reasons to face him, but we go further and I'm not done facing him. I'm not done until I have Jack Tillman in an armbar and he finally apologizes . I have to.
So Jazmyn Rain blocks me from that. That vindication and I have teamed with her. The Prime Angels could have been a tag team for the division, they still might afterwards, but we know she's a member of the Guardians.
If they were the Netflix series, then Adrien's Daredevil. Jazmyn's Luke Cage, very hard to put down, ask Matt and his inaccurate sweep and uppercut. Alechs would have been Jessica Jones and Honey the Iron Fist to make up the Defenders. But I'm the Punisher. I don't need to team with them, I have my target and I totally will leave Tillman with an injured wing at the very least.
So I'd say against Jazmyn, my teachings are the Judas bullets that can take her down and put me in the Prime position. She's the Guardian Angel but I'm the Prime girl, I deserve that spot.”

INT. J BUILDING - 2ND FLOOR - ROOM 2JA
In the small accommodation room, Trixie sat in small bed missing the big one at home. She usually felt confident after talking something on record but this time it felt uneasy. She turned away her noodles completely. Not because of her agreement but worry, worry about the fact….
What if she won…
