Time to be serious. Long Beach, California. Friday 17th September.

This was no messing around for Shawn as he knew he couldn't miss the chance to talk about his opponent, more so that the said opponent has defeated Shawn before known as Adam Sandlers. He's sitting on the balcony outside of his hotel room where he was sleeping as he wanted some fresh air and also to talk about Adam when it came to defending his title and he immedately addresses the match.

Shawn Young: "Let me just say that it feels great to be able to defend my Long Beach title right here in the said city. It's a nice feeling and admittedly, when I came to West Coast Genesis, I didn't have any plans this soon to win a title, heck titles weren't even in the talk as I was focused on making a name for myself first, but my mentor said sometimes, you get unexpected opportunities, but you make the best of them which I did, but at the same time the reason I'm not jumping like crazy is because of facing someone like Adam Sandlers who I lost to on Hype."

There was no chance in hell he was going to miss a chance to address his opponent as he knew everything about his opponent on how he can encounter his mistakes in the match and speaks.

Shawn Young: "Adam Sandlers is somebody I would've totally given a title shot to straight away as he defeated me fair and square, despite the mistakes I did he took full advantage of it. The guy I have given a lot of respect to already on twitter after that match and I was even shown by my mentor where I went wrong with the match and since our match, I gotten better out of it. You're much more speedy than I thought and it's why I must address you on camera right now, especially more that I'm the Long Beach champion."

Shawn takes a drink from his bottle of water and he takes a bit of a breather before he speaks again.

Shawn Young: "However I don't get why Eddie brought up the whole actor stuff into it because I already know you aren't that guy, you look nothing like that guy, but I'm serious about the game you brought towards me and I respect the fact Adam doesn't want to talk because there are some wrestlers out there who don't talk and let their managers talk for them, but I know how much you deserve a shot against this jumpin jack, but as I said, I gotten much better since that loss and I refuse to lose once again."

Shawn looks at the sky as he sees clouds and the sun, although he had to place his head back in the shelter to prevent himself getting a headache, but it made him pay extra attention to Adam and speaks again.

Shawn Young: "I do agree that Adam's the future of wrestling, but I am as well and I already made steps to be known in WCG, heck I'm only nineteen years old and I've become champion at such a young age which not many people can say that, but I expect to see the same Adam as when I fought him the last time and he may have defeated me, but I'm not gonna be defeated again as I'm expected to win, despite the odds stacking against me, but nothing is gonna stop me from pinning you for the three count and I wish you the best of luck to see if you can do it again tomorrow night as I will retain my Long Beach title that you deserve a shot of."

That was all Shawn had to say towards his opponent as he clicks the camera off and he goes straight to his room to watch a bit of TV before going down to the gym for four hours before he comes back to his room to get something to eat and drink before watching TV again. He then goes off to sleep straight afterwards.
