INT. HONEY'S BEDROOM - HONEY'S DAD'S HOME - 17TH NOVEMBER
On the road to recovery, Honey had done a few things. Highlights included an ice cream get together with Grayson Hunt, newcomer in NGW. A Talk with ACM's Champ Harley Torres, Ruby, Mason, to name a few who looked out for her.
She looks at her old room, her current room. The little bedroom located upstairs in her dad's house. Second on the left after coming up the stairs and opposite her own cute bathroom.
She yawns and circles the date in the calendar. Focusing on everything to move on, Christmas was over a month away and sparked some excitement in her. Leaping into her slippers, Honey walks downstairs in a pair of grey pyjama bottoms with kittens dotted all over it as well as a light fitted sea blue top.
CUT TO:
INT. COMIC SHOP - VEGAS - 17TH NOVEMBER
Surrounded by a sea of racks containing costume heroes. Honey is just at the checkout, having just paid for the brand new promotional item. NGW Trading Cards.
HONEY:
“Hurry Wes Hurry!”

Honey looks to her colleague, who appeared in her last video. Wes Futhhais. He too has bought himself a pack while buying himself the entire set of One Punch Man, Injustice Year 5 and the Walking Dead 1000 page compendium. Honey tears her cards open and looks at the back of the card to smell the new card smell before she turns over the first card.
HONEY:
(EXCITED)
“I got Aurora Graves!”
(EXCITED)
“I got Aurora Graves!”
She says showing Wes her first card. Then she turns the next card over.
HONEY:
(EXCITED)
“And John Blade too!”
(EXCITED)

Another card gets turned over.
HONEY:
“Ruby too! Look, she's my opponent!”

Wes Futhhais:
"Righteous, Little Hon.”

As he looks and tears his pack open. Honey turns over two more cards.
HONEY:
“A Devlin Scott card and, like, a Jessica Nitoh one too! She's super in SAP…and my other opponent too!”

Wes says crossing his fingers and pulls out the pack which shows him the front card is John Blade.
HONEY:
(EXCITED/SQUEALING)
“A SHINY CODA!”
(EXCITED/SQUEALING)

Honey says looking at the uber rare Young Lion's Champion card she got at the very end.
Wes Futhhais:
(Slightly annoyed but hopeful)
"Come on Billy Danielson…”

And sees behind John Blade is Alicia Hixx.
Wes Futhhais:
(More annoyed than hopeful)
"Come on Josh Kennedy then…”

And behind his Alicia Hixx card is another John Blade.

(Frustrated)

Wes says fanning out his cards as Honey does the same to look over her start of a collection.

"Yeah. You're supposed to collect them all. To be the NGW Master.”

Honey looks to her cards and pulls up the Devlin one.
HONEY:
“I already have, like, the NGW Master see?”
“I already have, like, the NGW Master see?”
Honey says looking at Wes a little confused, as she saw Devlin as the big boss.
INT. COMIC BOOK STORE - VEGAS - 17TH NOVEMBER
Honey's has the Ruby Rose card and the Jessica Nitoh card on a board with white "VS." made up out of paper strips she's taped together and stuck temporarily to the wall. So the appearance looks like "Ruby Rose Card Vs. Jessica Nitoh Card Vs." and Honey stands next to the Vs. to complete the triple threat. A print out of Resurgence's logo is above them all as Honey's had a small day with arts and crafts to set up things.
Gracefully allowed to film the promo video as a way to hype the release of the NGW Trading Cards in time for Christmas release.
HONEY:
“When we go to Atlanta Georgia, make sure you, like, look at the big changes for the Young Lion's Division. Because we have the South Bay Champion…”

Underneath Ruby is a folded card which Honey opens to show her own decorated little plate of Ruby's South Bay Champion, coloured and glittered slightly.
HONEY:
“The IPW Heavyweight Champion…”

Which Honey unveils Jessica's one stuck under her card. A similarly decorated plate with the IPW Heavyweight Title in Honey's own decoration drawn.
HONEY:
“And the NGW Tag Team Champion…”
“And the NGW Tag Team Champion…”
She says holding up her own card with the NGW Tag Team Title written in her own decoration. There's a pause with Honey as she squashes her lips off to the side a little self-disappointed she lost her title and a lot more. But she brightens up, knowing she has to keep focused to try and move forward. Tucking her hair behind her ear, her smile returns and she opens her arms out to signify how big she thought this match was.
HONEY:
“A BIG Triple Threat match that, like, you just can't miss. You only get to see, like Ruby, Jessica and me in the ring at the same time once….I think…
Josh Kennedy did beat me, um I don't have his card! Yet, but you know who Josh is and stuff. He gets to fight Coda now and this makes me the rank 2 in the Young Lion's Division.”

Wes had in his hand One Punch Man manga, the book he bought earlier and was relating it to NGW's Young Lion's Division. Honey looks quite confused and pats him on the shoulder on the only thing she understood.
HONEY:
“Thank you for saying we are, like, S-Class. But Ruby and Jessica are four and five.”

Flipping the pages in his book, Wes looks into the black and white drawings of the One Punch Man manga.
Wes Futhhais:
"Sheeet. You're up against Atomic Samurai and Child Emperor? Not good Lil Hon.”

Honey literally has no idea what he's referring to as he puts on her head a cowboy hat.
Wes Futhhais:
"Stay in the ring now. Atlanta's known for some of those vicious walkers. And avoid Negan.”

She saw him display his cooky, pop-culture referencing side he was known for, at least to Honey who worked with him in wrestling. This side coming out but, their dynamic was usually the case of Honey having zero clue what he was referring to.
Honey took the cowboy hat but it reminded her of horse riding with Alechs. Him on Leo, her on Lola, which is why the tag team titles meant so much to her. The belts had the two horses which she always related to that vacation with him, where she was cowgirl Honey.
HONEY:
“Um, ok...”
“Um, ok...”
Honey says to be nice but puts the cowboy hat back on Wes. She couldn't wear that, but she could wear her little boater hat she wore on her social media display picture.
HONEY:
“That's better!
Ok. So yes. We are in Atlanta and, like, my opponents are S-Class wrestlers like me.
But it is Resurgence too. The first NGW PPV since it came back in action.”

Wes moves out of the camera frame while Honey speaks, however his click of his fingers are heard and he speaks up.

"We should totally watch that movie FYI when you're done. Brendan Fraiser is da' bomb.”

HONEY:
“Um, maybe. But first I have to finish my promotional video.
So. Ruby we know that she got her start in WCG and I was, like, wrestling before that. But she rose to be a champion. A first time ever champion too! So she definitely, like, has some special hidden talent that I have to be ready for. Never ever under estimate Ruby Lance ever.”

Honey nods as she feels she's delivering an inspirational message of not to take Ruby as just another talent.
HONEY:
“Jessica Nitoh too, she's been a heavyweight champion before. So she's been in the position like Kayla is now. The tip top champion of the company! She's also been in a tag team with her own husband before, so she's been in my position too, but, like, on a much, much higher level.”

Narrowing her eyes, Honey felt the pressure of two opponents who may be Super-Class as Honey thought that's what the S meant.
HONEY:
“But I am the Super Falcon and I have spent time outside of NGW like my opponents are doing too, or have done and, like continue to do. So I will make sure to bring a big lucha libre influence to the match too. Both my opponents are, like, high flyers and I can't let myself slack in that. Nope, I am not a slacker.”

Honey shakes her head, eyes closed and then she brings up the uber rare card she got so luckily. The shiny Coda Young Lion's Champion card.
HONEY:
“Coda said she is going to be watching this one. Like she used to keep watching me for my matches and stuff. The Young Lion's Division is my new home now and stuff, it has all my friends in it so I can, like, do some really good things. Starting with Resurgence. If I, like, win against two big singles champions, then I am, like, growing from the tag team scene into more of a self-dependent wrestler which Devlin wanted.”

Honey looks down at the cute NGW Tag Team Title plate she drew. Smiling at it.
Smiling at it. The Guardians Logo fading in, however, Wes being Wes and reading the Guardians of the Galaxy book thought he'd add the instrumental version of Here Comes the Sun by Richie Havens, in his mind you had to go with a 70's song with Guardians and spliced in a montage at the end of Honey in the comic shop.
- Honey looking over the Wonder Woman comic books to see the relationship between Diana and her mother.
- Honey picking up a Harley Quinn one and calling her Aurora Graves, showing the impact Aurora had on Honey to the point she saw her far above the comic one.
- Honey looking at a Batman utility belt and spilling out the bat marbles in one of the pockets.
- Honey getting to read a comic of the flash, loving how he wanted to save his mother.
- Honey trying to read a Japanese book instead of the english ones located next to her. Turning the page and reading it like a book and not a manga book which was read in reverse.
- Honey getting to see a full statue of Disney character Merida and having a selfie with it.
- Honey pointing out the NGW trading cards with their new sticker in the section with other cards.
- A lasting shot of Honey looking at an issue of Blue Beetle with Jaime Reyes who reminded her of someone. Wearing his hoody looking out for his mother which made Honey smile.
OOC: Enjoyed working on this one with a good buddy. Very thankful for the 3 comics in the start became used in the RP and how I think I got to use everything to show Honey recovering, experiencing something I sometimes get to. Drawing from my own experiences in this one and I had fun with it.
