A scenic view of the Pacific Ocean greets the viewers as you hear the sounds of small waves crashing onto the shore. Seagulls screech and fly overhead as the sun is getting into position to begin it's sunset. Standing on the shore in front of his and Ruby Lance’s home rubbing his hands together is Scotty Latimer….wearing sandals and blue shorts. His chiseled physique glistening in the California sun. He doesn't acknowledge the camera as he peers out towards the ocean...a place where a kid from Brooklyn has fallen in love with. He turns towards the Malibu home and looks in through the screen door.
Inside you see Ruby Lance lying on the couch watching TV talking on her cell phone. She sits up as she sits on her knees continuing her phone conversation. She looks towards Scotty with her beautiful eyes peering on him and smiles. She presses her lips together kissing towards him before getting up and taking her conversation with whoever into the other room. Scotty smiles as he now acknowledges the camera but looks down to the sand that is between his toes.
You know….I moved out here right when I signed with West Coast Genesis so I wouldn't have to travel cross country every other week from my hometown of Brooklyn, New York. When I first stepped into Los Angeles I was miserable man. I was so damn home sick I pretty much had to talk myself out of leaving California...telling WCG thanks but no thanks...and taking myself back to my townhouse in Boerum Hill. But luckily I stopped myself...because right now I admit moving to LA was the best thing that has ever happened to me.
And it's not because that I found success out here through professional wrestling...the fact that I have already become a multi time champion...or inked a modeling deal with the fastest rising fashion line in the world Coulter Wear....it's not because I am a part of the most elite group in the wrestling business the Midnight Horsemen. Is the reason as to why moving here to California was the best decision I ever made.She was the first person to welcome me to West Coast Genesis...to look deeper into my personality to see past the arrogant New York smuck that everyone automatically labeled me as. She quickly became my best friend...hell she still is. I love her more than anything on this Earth and I would give up this business...the modeling business...this house...my lifestyle and my well being for Ruby Lance. Because that's how much I love her!
And ever since we became a couple I tried my absolute best to keep our relationship separate from our wrestling careers. Yet...it seems that everyone in and out of pro wrestling wants to be a part of our relationship. Don't act like I don't see it...I see the jealousy in people's eyes when I walk next to her. They all can't believe that we are together and a few of them hate my guts for it because they thought that they had a chance with her. But here's the thing….this isn't some meaningless high school romance...this is love. You all need to realize how much I love her and how much she loves me. This isn't going away no matter how hard you all wish that it will. You can't control who you fall in love with...and that feeling for someone will never….never….fade away.

I tried to keep our relationship separate from our professional life because whether you understand it or not..that's what everyone in this business...whether they want to admit it or not...want just that. They want to be able to break away from their characters and just be Plain Jane or Ordinary Joe just for a few days before their next flight to another town for another show. That was the plan...but now….everything has changed.
Because now everything is out in the open isn't it? And everything i feared would happen. My enemies….people I have always had spats with...are going after her now. You have these smucks complaining to the powers to be that I disrespect them by going on Twitter and showing how unbelievably proud I am of her. She gets the longest lines at #C2Con and I bring that up and jabronis get upset and run to NGW management “Oohh...we are important too...we have long lines also...we are stars dammit!!”. But you want to know the worst part? Instead of them coming to me they go after Ruby. I was the one that called her a bigger star than you and more popular because A. It's true...and B. I support my girlfriend that I love and respect with all my heart. So the next time any of you pooners have a problem with me doing that man up or woman up and say it directly to me!
Scotty seemed relieved to get that off his chest as he looks back over the ocean. He laughs a little.bit.
I look at the card for Dissension from New Orleans and I see we are opening the show against John Blade and Alicia Hixx. And then underneath in parenthesis at the end it says Scotty will be happy to team with his girlfriend….to me that sounds very condescending and disrespectful because Ruby Lance is more than just my girlfriend. She is the former WCG South Bay champion...the person that made that title mean something right out of the gate and she is also one match away from becoming a Seattle Pro tag team champion. Ruby is one of the up and coming greats that is in this business and whether people want to agree with me or not a superstar. She's way more than just Scotty's girlfriend. And to answer the statement yeah I'm damn happy to be teaming with a performer at her level. The #MidnightPhoenix teaming with the American Maharaja! There is no better way than to open the show...no better way.
Just then Ruby walks out with one of his white button down shirts and wraps her arms around his waist and lies her head on his shoulder blade closing her eyes.
John Blade...Alicia Hixx...get ready. Because we are coming to New Orleans to win….and to quote my Uncle Alan Envy from back in the day...steal the show.
