Home of Avery Miles III and Taylor Devereaux

OFF CAMERA
*We open as Avery and Taylor are just arriving back from their trip to Vegas. Earlier in the day they attended the wedding of Damon and Aurora Graves. They arrived back in time for Trick or Treating with their daughter, Brooklyn. The little blond was dressed up in a Dory costume and was itching to leave as her parents arrived. Heading inside, Brooklyn was sitting on the couch with Avery’s mom, Katherine.*
Brooklyn: Daddy and mommy’s home!
*As they walk inside of the door, Avery and Taylor are laughing as they head inside.
Brooklyn: Daddy! Mommy!
Taylor: Oh, I see how it is. Daddy first. Right?
*Avery laughs. Brooklyn immediately throws her arms around Taylor's waist.*
Brooklyn: I like when you have squishiness. Makes hugs so much better.
*Taylor immediately turns to Avery and catches her eyes. With her now more noticeable weight gain they probably would have to actually tell their daughter about the impending additions to the Miles clan.*
Avery: Momma’s squishiness…
*Avery chuckles as Katherine gives him a dirty look*
Avery: Well, ready for Trick or Treating, little one?
*The young girl lights up as she grabs her pumpkin candy bucket and heads for the door.*
Katherine: What about your costume Avery?
*His mother holds up a garment bag with a gleeful smile on her face.*
Avery: Um… yeah.
“He rubs the back of his head as he tags the bag and unzips it. It is a full size Tigger costume*
Avery: I look good in orange and black!
*Taylor snickers*
Avery: What about your costume, squishy?
*Taylor laughs as she moves to the hall closet, she pulls out a box and pulls it over her head, sticking her arms out pre-cut holes. On the front she's painted it to look like a can of pasta sauce. Avery rolls his eyes but can't hold in the laughter at her very clever play on the name of the sauce and her current situation.*
Avery: Let’s get going!
*The three of them head off for a fun night*

ON CAMERA
*We open hard as Avery Miles III is standing holding his phone in his hand. He pans around showing an empty gym late at night. The whole team and lot of customers have gone home. Avery immediately gets into the video*
So I win a match, in convincing manner… and I am rewarded with a non-title shot against the champion? I will gladly take it. But first thing is first… I want to welcome my “friend” to the party…
*Avery raises an eyebrow*
Welcome Jenson Idol. You know it’s too bad how things went down. Me taking your Heritage Title. And Indy unfortunately closing up shop the way it did. But it looks like you’ve joined Redemption with a bang and decided to say ‘hello’ to an old friend. Well, hello. I cannot wait until we meetup inside of the ring… it will be fun times again, Idol. And I hope I get to see Perry, too!
*A bit of a smirk from Avery*
This week I have the Heavyweight Champ; Matthew Shields. He was in Indy Pro as well, but he seemed to lack the success that he has had in RW so far. Good for him though; he deserves some notoriety. I don’t really get the whole monster pseudonym that he puts on as a show, but I know that Shields is human and has a weakness like any other man has. Shields has been unstoppable here in Redemption, and I know that I have an uphill battle. I haven’t been the most successful since my RW debut, but I’ve been a champion before and I know what it takes. I know that Shields will play this boogeyman persona and talk about how violent he is. How he is nothing like me. And how he will destroy me. All that I have to say? Bring it Shields.
*Avery ends the video abruptly, ready for action instead of talking the match up*
