Two Days Before Halloween
Chicago IL,
Location: United Centre
(The scene opens up and we see Anton Chase in his wrestling gear backstage at the United Centre, he is pacing back and forwards to warm himself up before we hear a ring-tone from a cell-phone. Anton Chase reaches for his cell-phone that has been on the bench with his luggage backstage. Anton starts to read a text message before making a call.)
Anton Chase: Hey man, is that true?
Voice: Yeah it's true. It's all over the news right now.
Anton Chase: I can't even make it real in my head right now. I was going to meet John after the show. We talked about him making a comeback.
Voice: Well that's not going to happen now. It's all over the news and reports are coming in.
Anton Chase: Was it just a accident?
Voice: We don't know just yet.
Anton Chase: I'm just in shock right now. I can't believe it. And I have to go deal with my opponent.
Voice: You go do that. Call me when you're done.
Anton Chase: Ok I'll call you back.
(Anton ends the conversation and puts his cell-phone back in his luggage bag. Anton sits down as the announcers are calling for Anton for the match. Anton is shaken up.)
Referee: Anton were waiting for you.
Anton Chase: Shut the fuck up, I'm coming.
(Anton heads down to the match with the referee)

Wednesday 8th November 2017
New Orleans
Location: Hotel room
(The scene opens up and were inside a hotel room, like many we see. We also see Anton chase who for the first time is dressed in a black suit, his hair is tied back like a pony-tail. As he plants himself down at the coffee table in the room, he un-does his black tie and throws it on the bed, he undoes a few buttons from the shirt to feel more relaxed. A sigh exits from Anton's mouth before he speaks)
"As you may know by now a wrestler by the name of John Pariah recently passed away from a car accident. I won't go into details because of John's family has already suffered enough. But as you know I was close with John. We had battles and we went to war when I was in PWX and we both gained respect for each other. I learned a lot from him and for that I am thankful. For that I am thankful that we became friends outside of the wrestling business. As you may can see I recently came from his funeral. Many olds faces was there from when I was coming through PWX and many showed the respect he deserved. But even John knew that the show must go on. And he would want me to fulfil my dreams. And that's exactly what I plan on doing but I'm going to dedicated it to John Pariah."
(Anton pauses and leans back in the chair)
"Which brings me to my next opponent and that is Mason Moore the current Spotlight champion. And when I say current that is exactly what I mean because this isn't just a match this match is for the spotlight championship. Mason Moore whether he wanted to or not has to defend that championship against me this week. This week I go one on one with the generic big-man for the spotlight champion and I'm going to do what nobody has done yet and that's beat him for the spotlight championship."
(Anton pauses)
"You see Mason Moore I know you've listed the wins that you've had and that's impressive and even one win against me when you wasn't champion, like I said impressive. But it doesn't elude the fact that at the current time right now you're time as champ has ran its course. Right now I am a different person from what I was a few months back, I am back to being me. I am back to kicking ass and taking names."
(Anton smirks)
" I have a new lease on life and I am going to show the world that this week against you. This week against you I'm going to prove that you are what I say you are - and that's a generic big-man - A man I know I can beat. A man that will know how it feels losing to a man like me."
(Anton pauses)
"It's funny Mason because I have been beating guys who are bigger and badder than you my entire career but you absolutely believe that you can walk all over me. It's not gonna happen. Not even a little bit. I am coming into this match with every fight in me and I'm walking out as the new spotlight champion. It's going to be an earth shattering feeling Mason when you're lying there on the mat beaten and I'm standing over you with the spotlight championship. I make history Mason. You're just generic."
(Anton pauses)
"You're going to know what it's like to lose something that you were close to. You're going to have that feeling of loss when I rip that title out of your fat generic hands and I walk out as champion. My victory this week Mason is dedicated to my friend John Pariah. I make history while you Mason will crawl back to whatever back-alley gym you were working at and leave my ring for good."
