Avery Miles III watches the ending of West Coast Genesis Hype, seeing the brutal end to the match. He holds his hand to his head, watching it as Julianna lights the chair on fire. Watching his friend, his little brother; Alechs is driven skull first into the steel chair. One. Two. Three. And that is it. It is over. The brutal Street Fight between West Coast Champion and the NGW Tag Team Champion finally ends. A wooden table. Three steel chairs. A nightstick. And fire. This match got out of hand immediately, and Avery is stunned by it all. Never one for hardcore matches, Avery could not believe it all. He was taken back, and thrown off by it all.
Avery: Wow…. I cannot….
Avery watches as Alechs makes a motion towards the camera. Alechs did not look good. He did not look himself. He looks scared and off. Avery knew immediately something was wrong, but he continued to watch closely.
Avery: What… what is he-
Alechs lays the title down in the middle of the ring as the show comes at an end. Immediately Avery grabs his phone and tries to call Alechs. Instead of ringing, his phone is disconnected. There is nothing to call. Avery tries to first call Honey, but there is no answer. She is either with her father’s in Vegas. Or she is trying to talk some sense into Alechs. Either way, Avery does not know and hopes that the kid that grew into a man before his eyes is okay and will not do something rash.

Avery is sitting on the ring apron inside of his Macon, Georgia wrestling school. He is unshaven, his hair somewhat a mess, and he looks to be unfocused.
Avery: This week is going to be a weird week. There has been no word from Alechs, and NGW just tweeted out that there will be an update on him Sunday. I fear for the worst. I fear for Honey. I fear for his family. I knew that Alechs was troubled back in LA, but I never figured him to do this. I know I do not understand. And I was not there with him. I just hope that my friend… my family… my brother…. is okay.
Avery lifts his head up, and tries his best to focus.
Avery: I look forward to Resurgence where I face off against the man that has become my career rival and friend, Alex Jones. But before I get there, I have one hell of a battle in front of me. Two time Genesis Champion. She’s been a champion in plenty of other places. A Prime Angel. A member of The Pride. And most of all, someone I call friend. Trixie. I know that she is far from a slouch of a competitor, and I know to be aware of those mighty kicks that she has. The ability to strike and flip the script on a match.
He nods as he is more than aware, both tagging with Trixie and training with her as well in the past.
Avery: She is no joke, and regardless of what people think or say, she has gotten to where she is because of her talent not because of whom she lives with. I know this for a fact. And I am sure that others will say that I am biased as I’ve teamed with her. And that I’ve trained with her. I have no need to build up an opponent of mine. I offer respect when and where respect is given. Trixie and I share a mutual respect, and I am glad for that. Sunday is approaching rather quickly, and I am aware that for some it is hard to fight friends inside of the ring. I know that I have a job to do. And that Trixie will happily get the job done if I allow her to.
Avery pushes off of his hands and lands feet first onto the floor below. He dusts his hands off as he continues to address the camera.
Avery: Last match, a title opportunity was truly taken from me by a coward. A coward that said I was two-faced and disrespected me. I have the chance to take down someone that held a similar title, twice, in front of me. You better know that I am not pulling any punches, Trix. It is important for me to continue to succeed in this company. I am wanting to put that man I was behind me; the man that was shitty to people like you. I’ve made my amends, and sorry could never be enough. You and I have known each other for some time, and you know that in-between the ropes I am all business. No joking. No funny business. Just professionalism. And I expect the same of you as well. I have a clear goal in my mind, and that is Mason Moore. You have your own goals in mind, and that is well documented. I know that you and Jazmyn have a match to wrestle at Resurgence, and I wish you good luck. We are both at a crossroads; a win over the other would mean great momentum heading into the Pay-Per-View. You own Tillman some ass kicking, and I owe Moore some of his own. For Sunday? It’s just you and me. Good luck, Trix.
He smiles as the video ends.

Avery sees the recent tweets from NGW.
Avery: He is gone. Alechs left.
Avery cannot believe it. He talks out loud to himself as he was home alone. Avery cannot believe it. What does this mean for Honey? The tag titles? Hell, what about the Vegas school? But most important, what does this mean for Alechs? Avery tried again to call Alechs, but it was disconnected still.
Avery: Fuck!
Avery quickly dials Honey’s phone. It rings once. It rings twice. It rings a third time. Finally, she answers the phone.
Avery: Honey.. I am so sorry…..
