The scene opens as Alechs Aurelio is backstage of the Avery & Serenity Miles Benefit. He was there to support his brother-in-arms and his wife. Alechs heads for catering and grabs himself a Gatorade as Avery approaches him. Avery is taking a break for the day’s events as he and Serenity need to chat with Alechs. Moving back to Georgia, the event was taking place in the new home of Peach State Wrestling School. Avery still owned the school in Las Vegas, but his intentions were to pass it onto Alechs.

Avery: Alechs! Hey! You got a minute?

Alechs: Yeah, sure. What’s up, Ave?

Avery nods for Alechs to join him off to a quiet area. Serenity was already waiting for the both of them as the event carried on. The fans could be heard, but the area was quiet enough for the three of them. Alechs had been in Vegas and had not had the time to talk with Avery about the Vegas wrestling school.

Avery: So as you know, Serenity and I are going to be running the school here. And the school in Vegas? You are getting the keys to the castle. You think you can handle it?

Alechs nods.

Avery: Serenity and I entrust you with it.

Serenity: I don’t know, he sure doesn’t seem too excited about it. Do you really think you can handle it Alehs?

She looks at Alechs, as she smirks. She of course was kidding with him, wanting him to at least show some excitement.

Alechs smiles. In the little bit of time he got to know Serenity, the two of them sort of busted balls. It was almost as if Avery’s treatment of Alechs as a little brother carried over to Serenity.

Alechs: Yeah. I am down. Thanks.

He smiles at the both of them.Alechs was either calm or hot headed. Only Honey got to see the other, softer sides of him.

Alechs: So like… I can rename it and hire my own staff?

Avery: I uh-


He looks at Serenity, as they were making couple decisions now.

Avery: Don’t see why not?

Serenity: It’s yours to do as you see fit. If Avery has no problem with it, I don’t either. You got the keys, it’s pretty much yours.

She glances at Avery, as she smiles softly.

Alechs cannot believe it.

Alechs: I appreciate you both entrusting me with it. I will make sure to do everything that I can to make it the best school in Vegas.

Avery: I am sure you will. So what names did you have in mind?

Alechs thinks for a second.

Alechs: What do you think Serenity?

Serenity thinks about it for a few minutes.

Serenity: Well maybe something with chances in the name. You have a chance to make the gym something better, you get tons of chances in life. It could apply to people taking a chance to be wrestlers, and learn all they can.

Alechs looks stumped.

Alechs: I was going to make a joke about whatever lame name you came up with but that is actually awesome.

Avery tries not to laugh.

Avery: She got you there….

Without a second word, Alechs shows the emotional side of him and hugs both of them at the same time.

Serenity: What can I say, I am good at these things sometimes. Look at Technical Serenity. That was me. It just takes a talent sometimes.

She lightly laughs.

Avery: Do us proud, Alechs.

Alechs: I will.

Alechs pulls back, and smiles. Someone off in the other room calls the names of Avery and Serenity as they say their goodbyes and head back off towards the event. Alechs was happy about their decision to entrust him with the Vegas school. Avery decided to find Honey backstage before her match against Sugar to tell her the great news. He was finally going to have something to be proud of for himself, and the school was his second chance to do so.




Alechs is sitting on the front porch of his home with Honey. He holds his phone as he hits record.

Alechs: So this match is a test. I am taking on my girlfriend. My partner. And my best friend. It is not going to be easy, but we both have talked it over and know that we need to do whatever it takes to give the most effort and have the best match possible. We do not want to face each other, but that is the way the cards fall. Aurora had to face Damon. It only made sense that eventually we would have to face off. And here we are.

He smiles, looking deeper into the phone. Alechs had thought this over and tried to find the right words to say.

Alechs: We both have to give it our all. Do not show any weakness towards each other, either. We need to go out there and wrestle hard. Not to try to injure each other, or hurt each other. We are out there to win. That is all. What happens inside of the ring; win or loss, won’t change us. We have tag titles to defend soon and we need to be on the same page. We need to be prepared.

Alechs exhales, and continues, wanting to get it over with.

Alechs: I love you, babe. I hate to say this, but I gotta win this. You have a lot going for you. The LFL. You are a Super Falcon.You are considered the strength of the team whether you realize it or not. I need to prove that I am not the weak link of the team. I need to prove that I can carry my weight; and that we are both talented. I need to show that I can be taken seriously. I am not just Honey’s boyfriend.

Alechs shakes his head a bit.

Alechs: Good luck, babe. This match is going to be hard but it is what we have to do.
