(The scene opens up and we see Anton Chase dressed smartly in some black trousers and a black V-neck T-shirt with a black blazer look. We seem to be in a small town of Denver, Colorado where the next Glory show will be live. We see Anton just walking the streets of Denver, where it's quite busy with people going about how they are shopping or spending time with their families while Anton is pondering his thought)
"So here we are another town and another show in the books and as you saw I left Glory on Sunday still the Genesis Champion, because you see even when Trixie was hand given a title shot due to sleeping with the boss she still couldn't beat me, she still even with help from others she still couldn't beat me. OK I'll admit she won by disqualification but she did not win the Genesis championship. That belt still belongs to me."
(The camera-man follows Anton's movements as Anton walks the streets)
"And look what even happened after our match last week, Devlin Scott decided to create a championship belt for Trixie. He literally wasted money on a championship belt for her. Like seriously Devlin there are a lot cheaper hookers around if you just want to get laid. But that is your business Devlin. My business is who is my next opponent. Who is the next challenger for my title. And Devlin Scott you've named Yujiro Fujiwara as my next opponent in the Semi-Main Event."
(As Anton still walking the streets and window shopping Anton starts to chuckle to himself)
"The first two shows I have been on the opening card and now I have been placed in the Semi-Main Event with Yujiro. But you see Devlin I am always a Main Event star. I continue to show it. And this match against Yujiro is no different."
(Anton pauses speaking)
"So now I have to prepare for Yujiro and after I finish with my personal time for tonight, I'll be going back to my hotel and doing my research. So I'll be ready for my next match don't anyone think different."
(Scene fades)
(The scene re-opens later that night and we are in a hotel room, with Anton chase dressed in some casual clothes, from a pair of blue jeans and the same T-shirt as before. Anton who is sitting at the table with his laptop open. and the Genesis championship also sitting on the table)
"Just like I said earlier this evening my time is spent very clearly, because unlike most in the wrestling industry who hope and pray of winning their matches. I'm a student of the game. Any free-time I have I spend it watching matches and studying potential opponents. Just like Yujiro. However Yujiro has been more outspoken since our match has been announced. And I find it funny."
(Anton pauses)
"I find it hilarious actually that Yujiro believes I want his respect. I find it funny that even though he has been away from the wrestling industry he still believes he is a established name. He is anything but. But Yujiro you believe you can just walk into the ring with being away for so long that you won't have ring-rust. That doesn't happen, in any sport."
(Anton smirks into the camera)
"But credit to where it's due Yujiro because last week you defeated a former champion in Chris Maverick, and after that Redemption Wrestling decided to release Mr. Maverick. Shame really that a former champion doesn't have the feelings in his gut to work hard and earn his place. But congratulations on the win. You needed it."
(Anton pauses)
"You see Yujiro I'm not a blind man I'm not a man who disbelieve in anything I do. Everything I do I know for a fact that there is a reason for it. And I know for a fact that growing up in the business, honing my craft all over the world I know that I developed a bad attitude, hell I had a chip on my shoulder. But it's what got me bookings. Promoters would see and hear what I can do and want to book me, because for one reason. I put asses in the seats. So any past stories you may have heard in the Dojo's are probably all true. And I'm proud of them. Those stories and all my actions in the past have made me the man I am today. The man that gives respect to where it's due. The man that truly deserves and respects the Genesis championship and its role in RW."
(Anton looks over to the Genesis championship)
"And here is something else I would agree with you on, that Redemption Wrestling didn't need ME. I NEEDED Redemption Wrestling. I needed a fresh new start somewhere from being overlooked and overshadowed but Redemption Wrestling gave me that chance. And now I fully hope to repay them. I fully hope to wear MY championship with pride. I don't look back and think about the bridges I've burned too much but you see I hope I'm here in Redemption Wrestling for the long haul. Because despite my match with Trixie last week and how she was handed a title match, I know for firsthand experience that that shit always happens. It didn't bother me too much. It didn't bother me too much because even though Trixie put up a little fight, in the end I walked away STILL the champion."
(Anton smirks)
"Yujiro this is why you should right now might as well be a rookie starting in the business. You claim that if James Sterling didn't pull out his brass knuckles in the battle royale and hit you with them that I would be the challenger. That I took advantage of a shady situation in that Battle Royale. And your point being??? Of course I took advantage of a situation. Like I have said before I am a survivor. In those situations it's all about surviving. And Yujiro that is why you should might as well be a rookie. I was a superior opportunist. And I'm proud of that. That natural instinct of surviving is lost with you. You claim your legacy of your family name that it actually means something outside of Japan. That is why it took you to defeat an already defeated man in Chris Maverick to get your title shot against me. In all honest here Chris Maverick didn't give a fuck about being in Redemption Wrestling, but I do."
(Anton pauses)
"I care about Redemption Wrestling because it has given me a purpose again. And I'm going to repay the faith that RW has put in me by defending MY championship against all. But know this. I will be a fighting champion"
(Anton picks up his Genesis championship and holds it in view of camera)
"Once again Yujiro you have made me laugh. Why is it that you think that I am not a fighting champion? I have not run away from any fight not in my life. And to compare me to the other champions RW have guys like Matt Shields and Dick Deveruaex. And say I am not the right man to hold this belt. Let me tell you something. This Genesis championship is where it's rightfully belongs and will remain with ME. You think that just because you won a match last week against a former champion that you are even considered to be a champion. Listen here punk. A champion is not someone who hasn't been in the business for ten years like yourself. Someone who thinks he can get back on the horse after a long absence. NO! A true champion is someone who eats, sleeps and breathes this business.LIKE ME."
(Anton pauses)
"I know that it is your ambition to win the Genesis championship Yujiro but believe you me it's my ambition to keep it. It's my ambition to help build this company and allow any opponent step up and face me for the Genesis championship. But when it's all said and done Yujiro. I will remain champ. Nobody bleeds this business more than me. Not Matt Shields and not Dick Devereaux. Nobody. And Certainly not you. So you can keep dreaming of beating me but when we meet at November sixth, the reality will sink in when I'm standing over you with MY Genesis championship raised high."
(Scene fades)
