Inside of the Peach State Wrestling School, Avery Miles III begins to get ready for the first official class of the location. Running the school in Vegas was fun but it was not home. On the walls of the school in Macon were memories; memories of generations that grew up and learned in this school. The school was dedicated to those that helped him to learn and trained him, as well as his father and grandfather. It was more than just a school, it was a cornerstone of Avery's life. And his wife, Serenity, was now a part of it too.
Avery finishes some final cleaning from the benefit the night before. He has a truck coming later to take away the rented tables and chairs; extras so that enough people could sit and not have to stand around.
A few banners still hang, but Avery was going to let them stay up. Avery rolls inside of the ring; a ring that held matches for over twelve hours. The video opens.
Avery: Barely twelve hours ago, I wrestled in a match with a good friend of mine against a couple of locals. It was nice to get back into a small venue, the roots of where I came from. I know that in a week I am facing off someone that also took part in the benefit. And for that, I want to immediately thank you, Mason. I know that you and I might not be friends by any stretch of the imagination but that does not mean I do not dislike you. You and I perhaps do things a different way, but you are a talent nonetheless. You are part of the Horsemen for a reason, and with my wife's connection with the group I've come to respect that they bring to the table. If in your place, would I have taken the chance to be part of the group? Probably not, but that is not me. I've had tag partners in the past and I sort of have my alliances these days; but it is going to take a lot for me to trust someone. I've had some partners up and disappear on me before. I am glad that it is working out for you though. Kudos.
Avery pulls on the ropes to check how tight they are. He wanted to get some training in today. And a couple of the locals that wrestled were also wanting to try out to join the school. All in a day's work.
Avery: My first chance in NGW in a long time for a title. My comeback has been strong. I had a decent record in WWH. I was 5-0-1 in UCI. I beat Rayven Hardy and then Alex Jones here in NGW. I know that none of that likely means anything to you Mason, but to me? It means a lot. I was always questioned. Could Avery finally break that ceiling? Could he rise above his own shortcomings? There was a time when I could not beat people like DeadEye or Karin Jasper. I trained harder. I worked harder. And things changed. I won titles. I beat long standing IPW contenders like Persephone and Jenson Idol. I lead Guerreros of Lucha and held the Rey de Reyes Championship. I broke past those barriers that people thought I had in front of me. And then...
He lowers his head and does not raise it back towards the camera.
Avery: I lost myself. And followed that up with an injury.
He wrinkles his lips and looks back up at the camera.
Avery: And for awhile, I was lost. I knew I wanted to come back with a bang. And come back better then ever. I am still recovering mentally in addition to physically. I've had to do a lot of maturing to get to where I am today. I am sure that I will continue to make mistakes. I am sure that I will screw up now and then. But right now? I feel better than ever. And I am excited to have this championship shot. It was far from expected. And it means more than most people will know. I understand that I am not in the running for the NGW Championship, but I want to work my way up to it. It is a matter of time. I want to earn my way.
He silently nods.
Avery: Winning this championship from you is going to be a task. I am aware of what a genetic beast you are inside of the ring. I know what it is going to take, Mason. And I am ready for the challenge.

Avery tosses and turns in bed. He mumbles under his breath.
Avery: nnnooooo.... take.....mmmm.... stopppppppp
He jolts his arms in his sleep.
Serenity wakes up as she almost gets hit by his arm. She looks at him, before she starts to rock him.
Serenity: Babe, wake up.
Avery: hmph. stop.. hey.... you!
He yells in his sleep.
She was surprised, as she pulls her hand back for a few seconds. She keeps looking, before she shakes him again.
Serenity: Avery sweetie... Come on, wake up baby.
He slowly starts to wake up.
Avery: Huh... what... where is....
Serenity: You were dreaming babe. It didn't seem like a good one....
Avery: Wait... are we are home?
He wakes up disoriented and confused.
Serenity: Yeah, we're home. Avery what's going on? What was the dream?
She was looking at him as she was worried.
He breathes heavy.
Avery: I... I couldn't.....
He exhales.
Serenity: Couldn't what babe?
She goes to wrap her arms around him.
Avery: I couldn't save her...
It was another dream about Zoe.
She hugs him even tighter. She knew who her was.
Serenity: I'm sorry babe. I know you would of if you could.
He stared off into the distance, silent. He did not look to be okay by any stretch of the means.
She could tell as she looks down. She wasn't sure what to say, or do. She keeps holding him.
His turns ghost white as he just stares off into the distance, completely silent.
Serenity: Avery? Say something baby please...
Slowly, his eyes begin to move as he tilts his head down and his eyes shut.
She was scared as she looks at him.
Serenity: Avery... Come on baby open your eyes.
He exhales as he shakes his head and comes to.
Avery: I am sorry.
He looks into her eyes, and she can tell something is not right.
Serenity: Avery what's wrong? Come on talk to me....
She was looking at him scared.
Avery: I just... I don't know if this is a dream. Am I even awake?
He touches his own face with his right hand unsure of anything.
Serenity reaches for his hand.
Serenity: This is real baby. Its not a dream. I'm right here, awake with you.
He silently nods as he leans into her shoulder burying his face into her. She can feels tears coming from his eyes as there was something much more rooted with him. They might be married, but there still were things she would have to learn about her husband.
