"That just looks so perfect."
Mason Moore smiles as he looks up over the door of his home gym. There is a large wooden box that has been painted black. Inside it's lines with dark blue velvet and has a simple light over the Redemption Wrestling Genesis champion.
"This one looks pretty damn good to."
Mason grabs his NGW Spotlight champion and puts it over his shoulder as he turns toward the camera, showing that he's wearing a pair of black NGW branded shorts, his title, and a smile.
"My goal from the very first day I stepped foot in to Redemption Wrestling, was to win the Genesis title. Three times I had an opportunity to fulfill that goal, and three times I had the title snatched away from me. The first time, a weasely little manager stuck his slimy fingers in to the match and his client took advantage. The second time, I was placed in to a fatal four way match and I had the title within my grasp, but the other three decided to group up, took me out and then someone else tapped out, ripping the title away from me once again. The third time, I was on the path to becoming a champion. I was in full control, and there was no manager to get in my way, no other competitors, nothing standing between me and the title. I was about to hit Moore Power, right on the cusp of finally achieving my goal, and then I was punched in the face by a set of brass knuckles. For the third time, that title..."
Mason looks back and points up at the Genesis title, then slightly shakes his head.
"Was ripped away from me. The old, third times the charm, adage was proven false and I honestly wasn't sure if I was going to get another opportunity. Two other challengers had already been announced, and it would have been very easy for them to sweep me under the rug and act like I didn't hold a victory over the champion. So... I formulated a plan. I found a way to make sure that I wouldn't be pushed aside. I found a way to make sure that everyone knew that I deserved another opportunity to claim the Genesis title. I found a way to make sure that everyone knew I deserved to be the Genesis champion. I found a way to get inside Blair Kivisto's head and throw her off her game. You want to know how my plan worked out? Just look at the title sitting in the box above the door, and the one sitting on my muscular magnificent shoulder."
Mason looks down at the title, then back up to the camera with a smirk.
"I didn't go out there with the replica title and call myself the rightful champion, because I was delusional or couldn't handle a loss. No, I did it because I knew it would piss Blair off, and an angry wrestler is a sloppy wrestler. I didn't go out during Blair's matches and make sure she won, because I cared about her. I did it because I was due a rematch with her. Also, I knew it would mess with her head and piss her off even more. It seems that pissing Blair off has become a bit of a specialty for me. Look back to two weeks ago. I do one simple video and call her out for being an absentee champion, and she fires back with a video and a blog, making almost no damn sense and just spouting off lies and slander about me. Earlier this week, I made one simple tweet and it sent her off on a tangent. She was sub tweetting, she started posting gym pictures, she did exactly what I wanted her to do. Everyone looks at me and thinks I'm some dumb roided up freak, but they are all wrong."
Mason moves a little closer to the camera and crouches down slightly.
"Just look at how I have played Blair Kivisto over the last few months. Look at how I have made her dance for me. Look at how I have pulled her strings. That is not something a dumb roided up jock is capable of. It is something that an intelligent and focused competitor is capable of. You fans, you other wrestlers, you critics, you look at me and only focus on the fact that I'm big. You say that there's no way it can be natural, because you can't do it yourselves. You put me down, you belittle my talent, and you underestimate my drive to be great. Then you turn around and praise a woman who uses brass knuckles and low blows. You're probably going to overlook everything I just said about my plan. You're probably going to downplay how well it worked. You're probably already planning on stories about Blair taking the title back."
Mason moves in a little bit closer and looks straight ahead.
"Bad news for you and bad news for Blair. As long as I hold this title, she will never get it back. Blair Kivisto can not beat me fairly, and she knows it. Hell, she couldn't even beat me after a low blow. Of course now she'll probably prattle off some bullshit about me whining and crying and you assholes will eat it all up while not realizing that I'm the one that is simply asking for a fair contest. I'm the hero of this story, not that lying, cheating, manipulative fraud, former champion. So Blair, you, all your fans, all the other wrestlers, and everyone else watching Dissension, you better get used to this sight."
Mason stands up and raises the title high over his head. He holds it for a few seconds before Karari Makelah comes in, takes the title and wraps it around his waist. She gives him a quick kiss as he stretches out his arms, then heads back out, letting him show off both the Genesis title, and his new NGW Spotlight Championship belt.
