New WCG West Coast Champion Julianna DiMaria is in an obvious good mood as she sits inside of a studio with her new championship slung over her shoulder. She has a smirk on her face, clearly being in a great mood for obvious reasons. Thinking a little about her match coming up at Unscripted, Julianna continues to maintain her confidence as she begins to speak her mind.
Julianna DiMaria: It finally happened! I FINALLY saved WCG! I’m dead serious! Now this company has a champion that is going to promote the hell out of this company. I am not going to be like my predecessor, I will tell you that much. Now, don’t worry. I am not going to speak of him at this moment. I think I’ve made my point very clear over the last few months and I think at Rise, I made my point ESPECIALLY clear. I didn’t just win at Rise. In fact, I subverted all of your expectations of me. You thought I was going to take the low road and cheat, didn’t you?
Julianna scoffs at the notion before she continues.
Julianna: Please! As if! No controversy, no shenanigans and I left Inglewood without a shadow of a doubt that I was not just simply better, but HEAD AND SHOULDERS better! It’s ironic how WCG has its little GLEE CLUB going on and yet, did all those precious friendships get any one of you to this title? NO! It’s like I’ve been saying, I don’t NEED friends to be a success story. It’s funny because I seemed to get on with Jess and Rachel early on in WCG’s run and yet, I wound up doing better WITHOUT them than WITH them. Granted, a member of said GLEE CLUB happens to be the #1 contender for my title now and to make things even more interesting, I have to team with him at the first Unscripted show.
Color me sick!
Oh and by the way, we have to take on the Messiahs.
Julianna pauses, rolling her eyes and letting out an annoyed sigh.
Julianna: UGH! Look, I’ve already beaten the horse to death when it comes to those bastards. Scotty Latimer and I were an unorthodox pairing and there’s no doubt we would have won had the 7th Circle decided not to jump into the mix and honestly, what else is there left to say? Oh wait, the fact that they wanted me to be part of their little Doom and Gloom club to fight by my side and they thought it would bring me the West Coast title? Yeah, I remember that too well. But… hmm… here’s where I go back to my “friendships don’t matter” mantra. Again, I won this championship WITHOUT them. If THAT doesn’t get it through their thick skulls that I don’t need them, nothing will. Whatever though, I’m not going to focus on that so much. I may not like Donovan Basch… or any member of that pathetic Glee Club for that matter… but I’m no idiot. I don’t let personal feelings get in the way of what needs to be done.
That being said, it’s going to be a LONG night for our opponents and in due time, you’re all going to see the kind of champion I KNOW I can be!
