“The night is darkest before the dawn”
The sun is inches away from rising over a metropolis landscape, an orange glow shines above the grey civilization. The noise of early morning hustle and bustle climbs up to the rooftops. On top the tallest building in the area Lucifer and Damien stand leaning against a guardrail that hugs the edge of the rooftop. Both men slightly windswept as they stare down at city below them. Neither man needs to say anything, so closely connected the brothers are in tune with each other. Lucifer looks up at the camera.
Lucifer: It’s funny. Life. The constant journey we travel on. There is no good or bad, just a blur down the middle. Me and my brother thought our war was over and that finally The Messiahs push foreward with cause we were brought here to do. But alas. Instead we find ourself in a constant spiral.
Damien: Circle, Anna, Circle, Anna, Circle.
Lucifer: As much as we look forward to meeting you again Anna, now the champ at long last, this is not the fight we promised the people. We promised them to end the Circle and move on to the next heathen of wrestling.
Damien: Instead, we stand here! To reset, what we are, who we are? To have a long think about what passion is...for us it’s the cause.
Lucifer: I implore any of you to do this. Go to a rooftop or even a mall and look down at the people. Realise how small and insignificant we all are. But then look around at all these buildings. A person designed those, a person built that. Greatness is withinside us waiting to be unlocked. Push for it.
Damien: Anna, you did that! You became champion.
Lucifer cracks his wide smile as he claps towards the camera.
Lucifer: And we could not be happier for you. And we are so excited about finally competing against a champion. Even if we have already hurt, manipulated and conqued that champion. Now, my friend, achieving this goal you thought so hard for, did it make you stronger… or weaker? Have you rested now it’s done? We will find out at unscripted. What a fun contest this is going to be for us. Remember the night is darkest before the dawn. Now you're on the other side of the dawn how does it feel?
