”When you think of West Coast Genesis, you think of all of future stars that are being created each show.”
The scene opens to a dimly lit room. As the camera zooms in, we see a silhouette of a man, in a suit, sitting in a chair. There’s no type of indication who this mystery person is. He has gone so far as to disguise his voice, just to prevent the chance of creating a clue.
”When you think of West Coast Genesis, you think of young upstart wrestlers, who are looking to make their mark in professional wrestling. Wrestlers, that are just now entering the middle of the show’s card, and wrestlers who need, well, development. That’s what’s so great about West Coast Genesis, it’s a stepping stone for most.
However, when you are stuck with a bunch of wrestlers that need development, you also need wrestlers, who are already developed. I look at WCG, and I see a major lack of wrestlers that actually mean something. There are no wrestlers that are really stars yet, and it begs the question…
What happens when a bona fide, already made star, crash lands in West Coast Genesis?
The camera angle changes now, to the profile of the silhouetted man. There are still no indications to who he may be. The Mystery Man leans forward, his body language expressing dominance, even in the very dim lighting.
”It makes you wonder who will be there to set an example for these up-and-coming stars? Who will be the man to embody all the HYPE, and help show the rest of the roster where to go when they reach each CROSSROAD? At Crossroad: Rise, we get the answer those questions. At the next Crossroad, the man that will truly usher in this new generation of wrestlers that Devlin Scott is trying to create.
That’s right, the answer to the prayers of WCG comes with the debut of the biggest name in this brand’s extremely short history. A man that is one of the fastest rising name in professional wrestling, and has been a champion in every company he has ever been in. This man has wrestled all around the world, and is one of the most heavily sought-after talents in the industry today.
This man is ME!
The camera angle returns to the front of the mystery man. He leans back in his seat, and fixes his lapel. He grabs a glass from a side table, and takes a drink. He scoffs, as he continues to talk.
At Rise, when my music hits, the entire place is going to go off its hinges. When I walk from the curtain, to the West Coast Genesis ring, I’m going to put everyone in The Forum on notice. From the crowd, to the WCG Roster and Ryan Keys, all the way to the Redemption Roster, because even they will know, that I’m coming for them on day too.
One month, until my debut, and until West Coast Genesis gets a serious RISE in their stock.
It will be…
EPIC!”
