*****OFF CAMERA*****
"911, what's your emergency?"
"Uhm, well I don't know if it's an emergency for sure, but my new neighbor has been exhibiting some very suspicious behavior."
"Ma'am, unless this is an emergency, you need to call the police, not 911."
"But, he's digging this giant hole, and I heard all kinds of power tools. The other night I heard someone moaning and I swear they asked him to stop."
"Did you see anyone come in to the house?"
"I saw a young girl the other night, but I don't remember seeing her leave. This guy is really creepy looking. He just moved in, he doesn't say hi to anyone, he's up at all hours of the night, and I know I saw blood on his hands the other day."
"Alright ma'am, give me your address and his, and I'll have some officers come out. that does sound very strange."
----------30 MINUTES LATER----------
Two Dallas Police Department officers are seen walking up the driveway of a somewhat disheveled house. The lawn is all but dead, the tree out front has branches ready to fall off, and the small light fixture is covered with a film of grime and dust that makes it almost unuesable.
"Well, the house is definitely creepy looking."
"Lots of foreclosure's around here lately. Maybe that's all it is."
"Maybe, the report was a little weird. Digging holes, people coming in and not leaving, up real late. Maybe we stumbled on one of them real weirdo types."
"Maybe you should stop watching horror movies and that stupid show with the witches."
"The witches were only season three, and I told you, it's the wife that likes that stuff."
"Sure it is Barnes."
The officers come to the door and give a quick knock.
"It's probably nothing, but stay alert just in case."
They wait about thirty seconds and then give a louder knock.
"DALLAS POLICE, WE NEED YOU TO OPEN THE DOOR SIR."
After about ten seconds, the door opens and there stands Matthew Shields, clad in a pair of black athletic shorts, and nothing else.
"Can I help you?"
*****ON CAMERA*****
Matthew Shields stands in front of a camera and holds his Redemption Wrestling Heavyweight title right in front of it as he begins to record. He leaves the title in front of the camera for a few seconds, then starts slowly pulling it back before he brings it up on to his shoulders.
"I told you all that I was going to beat Journeyman Phillips, but you doubted me as usual. After beating Phillips, I told all of you that I was going to beat Storm, Mancini, and McKnight, but you doubted me as usual. I told you all that I would be the first Redemption Wrestling Heavyweight champion, but you doubted me as usual. Well who the hell are any of you to doubt me? Who the hell are any of you to say that I'm not a worthy champion? Who the hell are any of you to say that I'm not a good champion? Who the hell are any of you, that i should care what you think?"
Matt stares straight at the camera and shakes his head in disgust.
"You're nobody, and nothing. I am the man. I am the victor. I am the champion. I am the one with all of the power... I am the one with all of the power."
Matt smirks and looks down at the title.
"That's what this give me. That's why everyone wants it. That's why we all fought so hard to earn it. people will say they want to be a champion because it shows that they're the best. others will say they want to win it for all the people that support them. Some will say they just want it for the money or the fame that it can bring them. Truth is though, it's all about the power. Being a champion puts you above other people. It puts you in a different class. It gives you the one thing that can actually make things happen in this World. It makes you powerful. Right now, I am THE champion in Redemption Wrestling. I am the top of the heap, the king of the mountain, the most powerful man in Redemption wrestling."
Matt's lip curls up slightly as he sneers and looks back down at the title.
"Mark Storm thinks he's gonna be the man to take that power away from me. Mark Storm belives that this title, and the power that comes with it, should be his. Mark Storm believes that I am not a worthy champion. Mark Storm believes that I won't be a good champion. Mark Storm believes that I don't deserve to have the belt. Well, who the hell is Mark Storm? Where I sit, he's a man with no power. He's a pawn coming after the king. He is the first one to fall to the first champion."
Matthew raises the title high and looks straight down at the camera.
"Mark Storm will learn what happens to those who doubt my power."
Matt stares straight ahead and laughs for a few seconds as he continues to hold the title high, then the video cuts out.
"911, what's your emergency?"
