#OOC Joint RP written by myself and the handler of Isaac Jordan.
~Question Game - June 3,2017: Off Camera~
Finally getting back to the room after a long day, Blair makes her way to the bed, just falling right down on it back first. Letting out a content sigh.
“Blah…”
She has on a pair of dark blue jean shorts and a Blaqk Audio T-shirt. Isaac was sitting back in the corner of the room in the generic wooden chair. His black jeans snug in the right places and a clean white wife beater tucked in. His beard kept nicely as his wild hair was pulled back.
"That good of a day huh?"
He reached into the minibar and took out two bottles of beer before kicking it shut. Making his way to the foot of the bed he offers one of the beers to Blair.
"Good day just busy could have done with a little less out and about."
She tilts her head up, her eyes landing on him as a soft smile came to her lips.
"Little more R and R. One day I'm going to drag you on a trip where there's no working involved."
She takes the bottle he offered to her, sitting herself up in the process, as he took a drink from his beer and sighs.
"You wanna take me on a trip, babe?"
He smirks at her.
"I don't mind relaxing in a hotel room while you do your thing, I get caught up on all my stories."
He laughs as he sits next to her on the bed.
"I'm just saying it'd be nice to go somewhere without me having to run around for business.”
She leans against him as he sat next to her.
"More for me than it is for you, just figure you'd invite yourself along."
Laughing she nudges him in the side playfully.
"I get to count that as a question right?"
He laughs and shakes his head.
"If you wanted to it'd let it count... I'm not picky when it comes to that."
He wraps an arm around her as she leans against him more.
"But yeah, a nice place with a pool... You in that leopard bikini? I'd love that trip."
He playfully winks at her.
"I'll play fair."
She smiles up at him.
"That sounds really nice. This trip to Helsinki is going to suck. No you, my annoying brother..."
She rests her head on his shoulder.
"Which by the way, brings me to one of the questions I have... How in the hell did you learn Finnish? That threw me off so bad last night..."
He starts laughing and lets out a soft sigh.
"For work. I have to be able to speak in a few foreign tongues for work, can't have small details lost in the translation, now can I?"
He takes a drink of his beer, rolling the bottle in his hand after the swig.
"I'm going to forego my turn this round... More interesting in what you want to know."
"Not funny. That's how I usually get away with saying certain things to most of the men that have come into my life."
She pouts.
"But I guess that's understandable."
Seeming to suddenly remember the beer she was holding, she took a drink from it, thinking about the next question.
"Okay... I'll let it slide... Do I want to ask what your work entails?"
He shrugs, his head slightly tilts.
"That is a loaded question. I do... various things. I offer protection to those who need it or are willing to pay for it. Umm, I take care of people's problems that they probably can't do on their own and stuff like that..."
He smiles at her before kissing her forehead.
"Gave you a bit more than what you asked, but you got me all gabby baby...."
He gives a sarcastic smirk.
"I see... For the most part, I was kind of trying to avoid that question... Considering someone from Gabe's past. I don't think I'd want to hear a more detailed answer than that."
She bites down on her lower lip, smiling shortly after when she felt him kiss her forehead.
"You being gabby for once is kind of nice, to be honest. Let's go with something a little easier, now this is an important one."
She looks at him with a serious expression, a little smirk hiding behind her lips.
"What's your favorite color?"
He leans back on the bed and gives a pensive look.
"Favorite color huh?"
He plays with his beard for a moment.
"Green."
Her expression turns to one of mock shock.
"No way! I guess that explains why you like me so much."
She runs a hand through her hair, grinning.
"It's about that color."
"Yeah... The color of your hair is why I stick around babe... "
He offers up a grin.
"Forget how loving, compassionate and sexy you are. Or how you call me on my shit or stand with me when I need you, nope... It's all bout that hair."
He reaches up and gives a few strands a light tug.
"Well, I mean... I guess there's all that too."
She smiles before glaring at him after the hair tugs, swatting at his hand.
"You don't mess with a bitch's hair."
She snickers.
"I think I'm out of questions for now. Gonna have to think up some really good ones."
"Really? All tuckered out after three questions?"
He shakes his head with a smile.
"Okay... Let's start easy. Favorite comfort food... And vodka doesn't count."
"It was a random idea I was slightly prepared for."
She laughs.
"Vodka is a drink silly, I wouldn't call it a meal unless I was depressed. Comfort food... Fully loaded baked potatoes, or french fries with ranch dressing."
"Sounds like something we have been missing out on, some good grub there babe."
He rubs at his chin a bit before looking back up at her.
"Greatest fear?"
"We sure have been... But it's hard when I seem to constantly be on the move."
Leaning back a bit she sighs softly. Chewing on the inside of her lip at the next question.
"Honestly... People outside of family getting too close to me. Hell, even family really."
He arches his brow, eyes still locked on her.
"Does that include me?"
"I.. Well... If we're being honest.."
She takes in a deep breath.
"I've been hurt a lot, it's not easy for me to let go of that. Especially when it has to do with people sticking around so..."
She sighs, looking down at him.
"You honestly scare the shit out of me but I'm suppressing the bail reflex because I like this, I'm happy and as stupid as my head is telling me it is, I love you."
He keeps his eyes on hers and nods slightly.
"Can't feel pain if you're the one giving it and can't feel hurt if you're not there..."
He places a hand on her thigh, then grabs onto her at the waist, pulling her against his body.
"I don't run..."
He leans in close, his nose lightly grazing against hers.
"I don't scare easy..."
He leans in and kisses her on the lips.
"And I don't give up when there's something I want."
She relaxed as he pulled her against him, listening to what he had to say, returning the kiss and smiling softly.
"I believe that... I really do but at some point, the want might not be there anymore."
She shakes her head.
"I've heard variations of that before and it hasn't really gotten me anywhere. I guess you can say I'm slightly fucked in the emotional department."
A nervous laugh followed that.
"But I mean... I start to get comfortable, confident, dropping all the guards and next thing I know, it blows up in my face."
He pulls her closer now and just smiles.
"Nothing imma say is going to change your thoughts so I'm just gonna have to prove you wrong with staying with you until one of us dies."
He leans in and whispers in her ear.
"And I'm hard to kill, people have tried."
He kisses against her neck before leaning back to look in her eyes. His words and the kiss to her neck sent a shiver down her spine.
"I sure hope you do prove me wrong. I think I've had enough disappointment to last a lifetime... Or four."
She reaches up and runs her hand along the side of his face.
"Lemme tell you though... One day we're going to talk in depth about that people trying to kill you thing cause that seems like it'd be important to know about."
He smiles and slightly tilts his head.
"They're not anyone to worry about now. You trust me right? Trust me now when you don't need to worry... You never do with me around."
He places his hand on hers.
"I can't believe how wildly in love with you I am..."
"Less of a worry, more of a general curiosity."
She flashes a rarely seen genuine smile.
"Try to remember that when you start meeting my siblings... They're... A lot. One in particular."
Isaac brings his hand to gently touch her cheek. His thumb lightly runs along her bottom lip and he smiles.
"I'm reminded of it whenever I look at you, smell your scent or think of you. Bring on the fam."
He smiles again.
"Not yet, I'm being selfish right now. Don't want to share my time with you with anyone."
She leans forward and places a soft kiss on his lips.
"All mine... Or maybe I should state it with the sentence enhancer like you did."
She smirks. He chuckles and bites at his lower lip slightly.
"I do like hearing you say that... And I'm more than happy to give into your selfish desires."
He smirks.
"I think they work in my favor as well."
"Considering we already know how selfish you are with me..."
She snickers.
"I'd say they definitely work in your favor, maybe even more than my own."
"We can both be tirelessly selfish together, I have no issues with that one bit."
He smiles and gently strokes her cheek.
"Tirelessly selfish together, I like that."
She moves her face against his hand, her eyes closing.
"Just shh no telling anyone how cute I can be. That’s only for you."
"Haven't you been listening? Tirelessly selfish...."
He leans over and kisses her with passion, his lips lingering against hers. He pulls back to break the kiss but only before pulling on her bottom lip with his teeth.
