THE BEDROOM SCENE
INT. TRIXIE’S BEDROOM - 2017
ON-CAMERA
ON-CAMERA
In Trixie's bedroom we find Trixie is currently getting herself into a Lipsy Flute Hem Bodycon dress as she flattens it out, letting the dress fit to her body shape and adds a pair of black suedette twist side pointed heels as her cousin Honey is hanging up a small vision board like she has in her own bedroom, putting on it a series of titles that Trixie has coming up, specifically highlighting the ECWF US Title in a blue and red circle, her Redemption Wrestling Genesis circled yellow, the DUOS title circles in pink and yellow.
HONEY:
"All done, Cousin Trixie."
"All done, Cousin Trixie."
Honey steps back to the king size bed where Trixie sits on the opposite side, turning her head around to see the vision board Honey has set up for her.
TRIXIE:
"Wow, Honey, that's great but it doesn't really go with the room"
"Wow, Honey, that's great but it doesn't really go with the room"
HONEY:
"But you need one, like, all your hopes and dreams focused so you can, like, be all focused on your dreams."
"But you need one, like, all your hopes and dreams focused so you can, like, be all focused on your dreams."
Trixie walks over, observing the titles on there.
TRIXIE:
"Well there's a lot more than just being Duos, Genesis and US Champion."
"Well there's a lot more than just being Duos, Genesis and US Champion."
Honey then offers Trixie from the cardboard packet of markers a black whiteboard marker.
HONEY:
"Here, you can write some more and, like, I hope they all come true."
"Here, you can write some more and, like, I hope they all come true."
Franklin Smith (O.S):
(Shouting)
"Honey! Come downstairs please!"
(Shouting)
"Honey! Come downstairs please!"
HONEY:
"Bye."
"Bye."
Honey puts the marker in Trixie's hand and races off out of the bedroom, leaving the door slightly ajar as she pushes it lightly closed behind her. Trixie opens up her marker and decides to entertain the idea, writing down "Children", "Charity", "Summer Home", "World Champion" and then looking at her little Norwegian bracelet she acquired on her one stop to Norway to face one Candice Turner, the one souvenir she got as more of a token when she longed for something much more at the event, and writes down on the board "Find my Father" in big letters.
Suddenly she hears a little footstep go by and grabs the eraser and wipes the whole thing clean quickly and rather vigorously as to erase her feelings physically to protect herself from the tears that could have followed. A big breath and Trixie checks the mirror, looking over her appearance, her eyes to see any evidence of sadness, of woe or neglect and seeing the made up appearance, a glamourous mask and walks outside of the bedroom to see who went by.
HONEY:
"Where did cousin Trixie go?"
"Where did cousin Trixie go?"
Honey says opening the door to see the room empty and then notices the board viciously rubbed out.
HONEY:
"Where is all my cousin's dreams?"
"Where is all my cousin's dreams?"
LEXIE:
"I did see her rub them off."
"I did see her rub them off."
HONEY:
"Oh..um, maybe she, like, doesn't like my present."
"Oh..um, maybe she, like, doesn't like my present."
Honey says walking to the vision board to collect it, before Lexie stops her.
LEXIE:
"Or maybe she doesn't have those dreams."
"Or maybe she doesn't have those dreams."
HONEY:
"I think cousin Trixie wants to be Genesis Champion again. And ECWF US Champion because, like, she's been chasing it for months."
"I think cousin Trixie wants to be Genesis Champion again. And ECWF US Champion because, like, she's been chasing it for months."
LEXIE:
"But she rubbed those off, Honey."
"But she rubbed those off, Honey."
And before Lexie can go any further with her wedge plan, she sees in a drawer, poking out a doll Trixie traded with her, a blonde one wearing overalls with a sun hat, something Lexie wore often when they traded and she had Trixie's, a blonde doll with a gymnast outfit, something Trixie was involved in when she was young, seeing the doll preserved and kept made Lexie reconsider her little dig to drive Honey away..
HONEY:
"She must want to be champion, cousin Lexie."
"She must want to be champion, cousin Lexie."
LEXIE:
"Actually, she didn't rub them away because of you, Honey. You're Terrif, must be something else, leave it, I bet you all my Vegas winnings she'll keep it."
"Actually, she didn't rub them away because of you, Honey. You're Terrif, must be something else, leave it, I bet you all my Vegas winnings she'll keep it."
Lexie of course hitting a stride of luck in Vegas, a rare probability where she never lost a single go at roulette and of course counted cards to win a few hands at blackjack on her weekend in Vegas weeks ago. Honey smiles ear to ear, cheerful as ever.
HONEY:
"I'm Terrif."
"I'm Terrif."
LEXIE:
"Yes, but keep that to yourself. I have a reputation to protect."
"Yes, but keep that to yourself. I have a reputation to protect."
TRIXIE:
"Hey Honey."
"Hey Honey."
Trixie then sees Lexie in the room.
TRIXIE:
"Lexie."
"Lexie."
And just like that, Lexie upholds the reputation, the wall she built up to avoid anyone seeing her dare be nice.
LEXIE:
"Trixie."
"Trixie."
TRIXIE:
"What are you two doing in my bedroom anyway?"
"What are you two doing in my bedroom anyway?"
HONEY:
"Um, we..."
"Um, we..."
LEXIE:
"We came up here to see your title belts, Honey hasn't got one yet, so we wanted to see how they looked on us."
"We came up here to see your title belts, Honey hasn't got one yet, so we wanted to see how they looked on us."
TRIXIE:
"Well they're downstairs in the den, so you can join us downstairs for chili."
"Well they're downstairs in the den, so you can join us downstairs for chili."
HONEY:
"Um, I think we're having pizza, cousin Trixie. Jeronimo Pizza."
"Um, I think we're having pizza, cousin Trixie. Jeronimo Pizza."
Lexie nods in agreement as the pair head out. Trixie stands in her bedroom and uses her phone to google search the pizza place, never hearing of it and sees the result.
TRIXIE:
"Jeronimos Pizza…Australia?"
"Jeronimos Pizza…Australia?"
Trixie says looking quizzical at the phone and makes sure she read it right before she too heads downstairs.
THE DOWNSTAIRS HALLWAY SCENE
INT. TRIXIE’S HALLWAY - DOWNSTAIRS - 2017
OFF-CAMERA
OFF-CAMERA
Coming through the backdoors is Lexie who wanders herself slowly upstairs, leaving her empty iced tea glass on the table under a portrait of an forest painting as she heads upstairs.
Honey wonders downstairs with the yellow marker in her back pocket as she meets her father, Trixie's uncle; Franklin whom called her downstairs.
HONEY:
"Hi Daddy, I just set up Cousin Trixie with her own vision board now."
"Hi Daddy, I just set up Cousin Trixie with her own vision board now."
Franklin Smith:
"That's just what I wanted to hear, Honey Sunshine."
"That's just what I wanted to hear, Honey Sunshine."
HONEY:
"Mmhmm, I made sure to put Trixie's title quests on there. She has, like, a lot more than me to win. I have the Super Falcon Cup, International Elite Cup and then the, like, tag team titles too."
"Mmhmm, I made sure to put Trixie's title quests on there. She has, like, a lot more than me to win. I have the Super Falcon Cup, International Elite Cup and then the, like, tag team titles too."
Franklin Smith:
"We've already made some space, a contractor is coming over to extend the shelf of our Honey Hall of Fame for the cups and belts. But Honey."
"We've already made some space, a contractor is coming over to extend the shelf of our Honey Hall of Fame for the cups and belts. But Honey."
Franklin says leaning down, standing 6'2 to Honey at 5'2", he crouches down to be eye level with her, noticing the necklace around her neck with an "A" pendant her boyfriend gave her.
HONEY:
"Yes, Daddy?"
"Yes, Daddy?"
Franklin Smith:
"My worry with this little Guerreros of Lucha place you're in, it seems kind of dangerous. You're my precious little angel, but they've scheduled a BARBED Wire match."
"My worry with this little Guerreros of Lucha place you're in, it seems kind of dangerous. You're my precious little angel, but they've scheduled a BARBED Wire match."
HONEY:
"What's that?"
"What's that?"
Franklin Smith:
"Razor sharp wire, Honey. It can cut you like that."
"Razor sharp wire, Honey. It can cut you like that."
He snaps his fingers, causing Honey to go wide-eyed and eyebrows curl up with overflowing self-concern.
Franklin Smith:
"The ring ropes, probably a boat load of weapons wrapped in the barbaric material. I don't mean to scare you, Honey, but I refuse to allow my daughter to wind up like some carved turkey, I just won't allow it."
"The ring ropes, probably a boat load of weapons wrapped in the barbaric material. I don't mean to scare you, Honey, but I refuse to allow my daughter to wind up like some carved turkey, I just won't allow it."
HONEY:
"Cousin Trixie is in, like, a hell in a cell match, Daddy. I think maybe, like, I can do the hardcore stuff like her too. Be brave. Honeycanrana!"
"Cousin Trixie is in, like, a hell in a cell match, Daddy. I think maybe, like, I can do the hardcore stuff like her too. Be brave. Honeycanrana!"
Honey says quoting her catchphrase for Guerreros Of Lucha where she had been taking lucha libre lessons, though the bravery was not met with fatherly approval from Franklin whom squeezes her arms a little.
Franklin Smith:
"Your cousin in a hell in a cell match is lunacy! There is no reason to ever make the ring more dangerous than it already is. Promise me you'll never, ever, ever do a hell in a cell match or anything hardcore like that?"
"Your cousin in a hell in a cell match is lunacy! There is no reason to ever make the ring more dangerous than it already is. Promise me you'll never, ever, ever do a hell in a cell match or anything hardcore like that?"
HONEY:
"Um…."
"Um…."
Above them walking past Trixie's bedroom door is Lexie, Trixie's cousin near Honey's age come down in her own world until she spies on Trixie through the whole, looking at her write something on her vision board and steps away, causing a little squeak in the floor as she travels downstairs.
Franklin Smith:
"Honey…"
"Honey…"
HONEY:
"I promise. Honey promise."
"I promise. Honey promise."
Honey says drawing a cross over her heart, a mannerism she did to tell her dads she'd never cross her own Honey promises no matter what. The sight of the Honey promise makes Franklin dip his head down and a relief coming over him as Lexie's flat shoe collides with the floor and makes Honey turn her head to see who was there, smiling at Lexie, their relationship quite a favourable one as Honey looked up to Lexie like a big sister, again despite their age gap being months.
HONEY:
"Cousin Lexie!"
"Cousin Lexie!"
LEXIE:
"Honey. Hi, come with me will you? Thanks."
"Honey. Hi, come with me will you? Thanks."
Lexie hooks onto Honey's arm and absconds with her, leading her out of Franklin's arms as she heads to the kitchen with her cousin. Franklin pulling out his phone to text Walter whom he'd lost in the house the good news about Honey boycotting hardcore and dangerous matches when Trixie comes down the stairs
TRIXIE:
"Don't tell me Honey has you playing candycrush too?"
"Don't tell me Honey has you playing candycrush too?"
Franklin Smith:
"What? No, I was just"
"What? No, I was just"
Despite her brave face, Trixie's body language showed her lacking of the father. Rubbing her shoulder firm, something oblivious to most men but Franklin knows his niece well and takes her hand.
Franklin Smith:
"What's going on?"
"What's going on?"
TRIXIE:
"Nothing. Literally nothing. Totally nothing."
"Nothing. Literally nothing. Totally nothing."
Trixie looks off from Franklin, again something most men would take on board but Franklin rubs her arms along the triceps as Trixie recognised him as the most father like in her life.
Franklin Smith:
"That's too many nothings, I know you've got something going on and you know I won't let it go, or sleep or eat sometimes, I'm trying to cut down for summer, but that's another topic, what's going on with you?"
"That's too many nothings, I know you've got something going on and you know I won't let it go, or sleep or eat sometimes, I'm trying to cut down for summer, but that's another topic, what's going on with you?"
But coming out of the garage is Trixie's mother, Billie, blonde with a fresh tan from her lounging in the home she was given as part of a break-up, someone Trixie didn't want to hurt with bringing up the man who left her pregnant.
TRIXIE:
"Can we go and speak more privately?"
"Can we go and speak more privately?"
Franklin Smith:
"Sure. Let's go to the kitchen."
"Sure. Let's go to the kitchen."
Franklin says walking to the kitchen only to remember and realise Lexie and Honey went in there.
LEXIE: (O.S)
"Great idea, Honey!."
"Great idea, Honey!."
And instead leads his niece into the back garden, sliding the doors open and closing them as Trixie and him take a seat upon the lounge chairs overlooking a rather extravagant pool. Billie seems glad that Trixie and Franklin have gone, withdrawing her phone out from her pants waistband and is in the middle of a phone call.
Billie:
"Sorry Jerry, I can talk now…..I'm looking forward to see you two, but I can't let you come here. Trix Trix is on a roll and….yes, but….no the thing is, Jerry, she's not overly fond of you, so us? We have to be careful."
"Sorry Jerry, I can talk now…..I'm looking forward to see you two, but I can't let you come here. Trix Trix is on a roll and….yes, but….no the thing is, Jerry, she's not overly fond of you, so us? We have to be careful."
Billie says pacing back and forth before she chuckles mischievously.
Billie:
"It is quite exciting to be sneaking around again…"
"It is quite exciting to be sneaking around again…"
Honey and Lexie come through the door and Billie changes the phone call conversation entirely.
Billie:
"And that's pepperoni on one half, ham and pineapple on the other?.."
"And that's pepperoni on one half, ham and pineapple on the other?.."
LEXIE:
"Can't wait to see..Oh hello."
"Can't wait to see..Oh hello."
Billie smiles and brings her finger to her lips to ask for silence.
HONEY:
(Whispering)
"Come on cousin Lexie."
(Whispering)
"Come on cousin Lexie."
LEXIE:
"Can you get me a thin crust please? Because I'm allergic to cumin, and someone has spoiled your chili with it."
"Can you get me a thin crust please? Because I'm allergic to cumin, and someone has spoiled your chili with it."
Billie takes a note of Lexie's comment with a stern glance, pulling the phone from her ear as the other end is of course asking why she's changed her topic of conversation to pizza.
Billie:
"Hang on Jer-Jeronimo Pizza. What did you say?"
"Hang on Jer-Jeronimo Pizza. What did you say?"
LEXIE:
"Cumin, in the chili. Spoiling Trix Trix's big meal before her hell in a cell and Genesis Title matches. Shame. Tre sad."
"Cumin, in the chili. Spoiling Trix Trix's big meal before her hell in a cell and Genesis Title matches. Shame. Tre sad."
HONEY:
"I didn't know you were allergic to..oof"
"I didn't know you were allergic to..oof"
Honey says getting a little nudge from Lexie.
LEXIE:
"Go check, it nearly blocked my throat up, pizza sounds great."
"Go check, it nearly blocked my throat up, pizza sounds great."
And Honey is once again whisked away by Lexie to the stairs.
Billie:
"Sorry Jerry, I'm going to have to go. Walter has ruined my daughter's meal and now I've got to order a pizza to cover this. I'll talk later, toodles."
"Sorry Jerry, I'm going to have to go. Walter has ruined my daughter's meal and now I've got to order a pizza to cover this. I'll talk later, toodles."
And Billie ends the call, stomping with a huff to the kitchen as Lexie walks up with Honey to the bedroom. A few moments pass
Franklin Smith: (O.S.)
"…we've been binge watching all the mature television shows we couldn't watch-"
"…we've been binge watching all the mature television shows we couldn't watch-"
Franklin steps through as Trixie opens the door for him to which then Trixie comes in from the garden with her uncle, Trixie's eyes a tiny bit red but hardly noticeable to the untrained eye, Trixie closing the doors behind her
Franklin Smith:
"-while Honey living at home. Walter wanted to start with daredevil, Game of Thrones all the way."
"-while Honey living at home. Walter wanted to start with daredevil, Game of Thrones all the way."
TRIXIE:
"Totally, I'm just going to go upstairs for a moment, see you in the kitchen."
"Totally, I'm just going to go upstairs for a moment, see you in the kitchen."
Trixie glances at Franklin to say thank you as Trixie scurries upstairs with new profound feelings of acceptance and surrounded by love as she walks to her bedroom. Franklin heads himself towards the kitchen. Later we see Lexie and Honey walk downstairs together to the kitchen and then Trixie shortly afterwards, only this instance, she's greatly annoyed and on a warpath.
THE KITCHEN SCENE
INT. TRIXIE’S HOME - KITCHEN - DOWNSTAIRS - 2017
OFF-CAMERA
OFF-CAMERA
Inside the kitchen we find a man in a duck egg blue button up shirt equipped with a fog grey blazer and matching dress pants, cufflings in the forms of "W" along with Trixie's mother Billie, unhappy to be there as an assistant chef to Billie cooking up an unconventional chili for the family as she pours in a can of baked beans.
Walter:
"Chili doesn't have beans in."
"Chili doesn't have beans in."
His remark quite snarky in nature but Billie ignores that of her brother's partner.
Billie:
"Trix Trix likes my chili, I put beans in it, so like it or don't eat it, you could stand to lose a few pounds."
"Trix Trix likes my chili, I put beans in it, so like it or don't eat it, you could stand to lose a few pounds."
Billie says stirring the grand pot with a wooden spoon and brings just a smidge to her lips to taste, pouring in some more of the secret sauce on the side that was black in colour and made up of seven ingredients, none of which were cumin as Walter spied the cumin on the spice rack with the plastic still intact. He knew Trixie generally didn't cook so it made sense why it remained unopened but Billie cooking chili meant she hadn't included it. And he would reply
Walter:
"Being in a long-term committed relationship usually means you gain a few pounds here and there, one day you'll know."
"Being in a long-term committed relationship usually means you gain a few pounds here and there, one day you'll know."
Walter chimes back at Trixie's mother's inability to hold onto a man for long.
Billie:
(Laughing)
"Just jealous I got an incredible house from the break-up."
(Laughing)
"Just jealous I got an incredible house from the break-up."
Walter:
"Payment for not being loved."
"Payment for not being loved."
At which point Billie dropped the spoon for a clang against the pot and looked to slap the taste out of his mouth as she was told her latest ex didn't love her but seeing another woman walk in, she is quick to restrain herself as her brother comes in from training room.
Franklin Smith:
"It's a good room, could always do with a little improvements here and there, blue ropes and the likes."
"It's a good room, could always do with a little improvements here and there, blue ropes and the likes."
Billie:
"Great for Trix Trix to train and work hard, you could probably get Honey in the ring there too."
"Great for Trix Trix to train and work hard, you could probably get Honey in the ring there too."
Franklin Smith:
"Yes..well…Honey has a good thing going with the set-up she has. Yes there is a transit and yes it's a bit of a hastle, but it will make our girl win the Super Falcon Cup"
"Yes..well…Honey has a good thing going with the set-up she has. Yes there is a transit and yes it's a bit of a hastle, but it will make our girl win the Super Falcon Cup"
Billie:
"Yes, but Trixie's own training room has molded her into such a demanded girl, I mean the title opportunities are literally flying in for her."
"Yes, but Trixie's own training room has molded her into such a demanded girl, I mean the title opportunities are literally flying in for her."
Walter's eye roll and Billie almost queued it up as she flicks her wrist his way expecting it. Franklin behind them parouses the website of the Super Falcon Cup, realizing the match up main event scheduled is a barbed wire match and his heart launches itself into his throat as he swallows hard.
Billie:
"Franklin?"
"Franklin?"
Billie's phone rings as Franklin walks to the other door into the grand downstairs hall near the steps and Billie shields the name popping up from Walter's eyes, passing him the phone as she heads in the same direction as Franklin.
Franklin Smith (O.S):
(Shouting)
"Honey! Come downstairs please!"
(Shouting)
"Honey! Come downstairs please!"
Walter:
(Sarcastic)
"No. Go. I love to cook all by myself for six people, it's fine."
(Sarcastic)
"No. Go. I love to cook all by myself for six people, it's fine."
Walter says cooking and grabbing from the spice rack the cumin as he tries to pull the plastic opening off with his fingers, despite there being a knife a couple inches away to pierce it, his minute spent in trying to open the plastic becomes a battle against it, not willing to let it defeat him.
But then the door opens and Lexie drags in Honey.
HONEY:
"What are we doing, cousin Lexie?"
"What are we doing, cousin Lexie?"
Lexie's grin is washed away when she sees Walter busy trying to open the cumin.
LEXIE:
"My aunt won't appreciate you tampering with her recipe."
"My aunt won't appreciate you tampering with her recipe."
Walter:
"Chili has cumin in, she's not a cook."
"Chili has cumin in, she's not a cook."
Honey goes over to Walter as he puts the cumin down in mild frustration at his lack of a fingernail, all smooth.
HONEY:
"Why don't you just open it with a knife, Daddy?"
"Why don't you just open it with a knife, Daddy?"
Walter:
"Because. Because I won't let this thing beat me."
"Because. Because I won't let this thing beat me."
LEXIE:
"Uncle, you don't have to take out you losing your client on that, tre harsh."
"Uncle, you don't have to take out you losing your client on that, tre harsh."
Lexie says revealing Walter having a little trouble with a client he'd been texting as she saw on the way to Trixie's home. Walter looks at her with a slight twitch in his brow.
LEXIE:
"Let me and Honey take over, I'm sure you have some legal stuff to do."
"Let me and Honey take over, I'm sure you have some legal stuff to do."
HONEY:
"No, go see cousin Trixie's brand new vision board."
"No, go see cousin Trixie's brand new vision board."
Walter takes a breath.
Walter:
"Maybe I'll have some air."
"Maybe I'll have some air."
And with that Walter heads out of the kitchen through to the training room.
HONEY:
"Um, Walter! You're going.."
"Um, Walter! You're going.."
Before Lexie covers Honey's mouth
LEXIE:
"Great idea, Honey!"
"Great idea, Honey!"
Honey looks at her confused and gets reprieve from Lexie's hand over her mouth.
HONEY:
"I didn't say an idea, cousin Lexie.."
"I didn't say an idea, cousin Lexie.."
LEXIE:
"Yes you did, Lil Miss Sunshine. "
"Yes you did, Lil Miss Sunshine. "
Lexie gives Honey a look as she looks down, look intently at Honey aiming to convince her otherwise.
LEXIE:
"You said go to see Trixie's vision board…so…let's go."
"You said go to see Trixie's vision board…so…let's go."
HONEY:
"Okies. I can show you the stuff I wrote. I think I know my cousin Trixie well, since she's quite busy now, like, winning titles and stuff."
"Okies. I can show you the stuff I wrote. I think I know my cousin Trixie well, since she's quite busy now, like, winning titles and stuff."
Honey walks but is yanked back by cousin Lexie.
LEXIE:
"Aren't you going to be a good daughter and open the cumin for your father?"
"Aren't you going to be a good daughter and open the cumin for your father?"
Honey pierces the cumin with the knife and takes the plastic away, looking around the unfamilar kitchen for the wastebin. With Honey's back turned, Lexie pours a load of cumin into the chili pot and leaves the pot where Honey had left it.
LEXIE:
"Come on, Honey. You said you'd show me, tre bored right now."
"Come on, Honey. You said you'd show me, tre bored right now."
Honey opens one the doors to find the bin come out for her to dump the plastic in the bin and leads the way.
HONEY:
"This way, cousin Lexie."
"This way, cousin Lexie."
And the pair leave the kitchen to the hallway. Shortly after, Billie enters stomping and sees the cumin open and looks at it with a minor dip from the dried line and snarls out loud.
Billie:
"Walter."
"Walter."
Walter:
"What did I do now?"
"What did I do now?"
Walter walks in to Billie who immediately turns around and holds up the cumin bottle.
Billie:
"So you didn't just tamper with my recipe. You just have to control everyone."
"So you didn't just tamper with my recipe. You just have to control everyone."
Billie says setting the bottle down annoyed so it clacks loudly. Walter is oblivious to Billie's annoyance and where it's stemming from.
Walter:
"I was getting some fresh air, I didn't touch -"
"I was getting some fresh air, I didn't touch -"
Franklin walks into the kitchen to witness Billie not hold back the tension she has for her brother's partner.
Billie:
"You insisted that it had it in when we were cooking. Poor Lex Lex is allergic to cumin."[/div
As at that moment Honey and Lexie enter the kitchen just as Franklin steps in between them to be a mediator.
Honey chimes in and gets a momentary all eyes on her. Billie with a deer in headlights look as her cover story clearly catching on.
Franklin says putting his hands on Walter's shoulders only to have them knocked off.
Billie says apologising for Walter's apparent careless spicing to which Lexie shrugs, knowing full well to not pick a side in the argument she'd created.
Again Honey gets the glances until the door opens. Just as Honey tries to calm everyone down, Trixie's entrance to the kitchen with her arms folded took it a different way.
And Lexie observes as Franklin and Walter begin to squabble over Walter not believing him while Trixie and Billie begin to argue over the reappearance of Jerry in Billie's life, one father figure Trixie clearly never wanted and though she'd caused it, the fighting makes Lexie's blood pressure raise and she closes her eyes feeling it build, stabilizing herself on the counter as Trixie and Billie rage words over her new partner and Honey goes to the table to try and lay the table to keep her mind off the arguing, seemingly to never end…
THE BACK GARDEN SCENE
Lexie, Trixie's cousin sits on one of the various lounge beds enjoying some sun in her cousin's Vegas home, overlooking a beautiful clear pool as she finishes her iced tea drink and feels she needs a refill and heads inside the home.
She mutters to herself and heads in. A while later, Trixie comes out of the house followed by her uncle Franklin and they each take a seat on a lounge chair. Franklin sits up on the chair as Trixie lies back in some sort of therapy in malibu scene as Trixie rests her hands over her stomach.
Franklin urges her on to open up as Trixie finds it difficult, seeing where she was without a person in her life, she ponders if she really needed to have that emotional run of feelings she was still feeling in the wake of her Norway match for EWC.
Trixie gives a "if you catch my drift" look to Franklin whom did immediately, knowing Billie's, his sister, Trixie's mother's aversion and hatred for the profession due to being abandoned by a wrestler. But Trixie doesn't really notice the missing father in her life was bubbling away at his own issues over his daughter Honey's mother, as Honey had grown up with two fathers to Trixie's zero while Trixie had grown up with one mother to Honey's zero, making him a little on edge.
Unbeknowst to Trixie, he was asking for his own daughter's heritage considering the conversation he'd had with Billie and his partner Walter back in the end of 2015.
Trixie ends with a little catch in her voice
Franklin says hoping the question of Honey's mother would never come up.
Trixie takes a little inhale and observes the view in front of her, her home, Vegas. Where she'd grown up and made her base camp for her career, for her family to visit as they were, her family who wanted to come, even those she did have minor frictions with, they were over.
And she looks at him standing up to hug her, granted his moisturized hands and mango shampoo weren't the things she expected with a father figure but she felt fulfilled all the same.
He says trying to correct himself to be correct, making Trixie cheer up slightly at how adorable it was and gives him a light shove at the shoulder to knock it off.
Trixie stands up with a little squeal.
Trixie opens up the door for her uncle and he steps through as Trixie steps herself through the door and closes it behind her.
THE TRAINING ROOM SCENE
In Trixie's training room we find Franklin Smith, Trixie's uncle walks about, seeing the gym set up with machines all perfectly clean, yoga mats down for Trixie to wind down and relax as well as a ring that he wonders around.
Franklin says to himself rubbing the ring apron as he once caught Honey running up the corner to perform a shiranui, a move she dubbed "That banned move" because Franklin often forbid her from performing the move or going to the top rope and she was following Trixie's lead to take more aerial moves to her arsenal.
Franklin sighs as he begins to over hear her sister arguing with Walter, something he knew they pretended to hide from him.
Franklin now opens the door as he steps inside to the kitchen. A few moments pass as Walter comes into the training area, opening his blazer to pull a flap over and unzip a concealed pocket for some cigarettes and a zippo lighter as he walks to the big window furthest from the ring and opens the top to light up his cigarette, taking a drag and blowing the smoke outside as he reaches into his trouser pocket to pull out a box of spearmints breath mints.
Walter observes the text and shakes his head, taking another drag and just spends a few minutes trying to calm down, calm his nerves and wishes he had a drink to pair with his cigarette. As his cigarette gets to the end, he lets the smoke exit his mouth as he texts.
And with that, Walter takes one last drag on his cigarette, shovels in a few couple mints and ditches the cigarette followed by taking out of the same concealed pocket a small bottle of after shave he spritzes on his neck and hands to cover the smell of cigarettes. Walter finally starts to walk to the kitchen.
And Walter heads into the kitchen.
THE GARAGE SCENE
Billie, Trixie's mother comes into the garage with her phone illuminating her hand as she turns on the radio downstairs to cover the phone call audio.
Billie tries to listen but can't hear a word so she shuts off the radio that was playing Despacito.
Billie paces up and down the garage, grazing her hand over Trixie's pink corvette as she walks back and forth.
Billie keeps her pacing going and is stopped when Jerry on the other line says something unexpected.
And on the other end, before Billie can continue, Jerry is being talkative, making Billie release some tension in her shoulders and sit back against the corvette.
A general statement her mother made before she generally chased her romantic pursuit but never got it, a cliché of sorts as Billie knocks over a slate that causes a bit of a ruckus. Fearing she would alert people, Billie jams her phone into her waistband and covers it up with her blouse hem, gradually making her way to the door and pokes her head out to see it's empty, and then looks back to the mess she's made of the wall. Not wanting to be blamed for it, Billie steps into the hallway.
"You insisted that it had it in when we were cooking. Poor Lex Lex is allergic to cumin."[/div
As at that moment Honey and Lexie enter the kitchen just as Franklin steps in between them to be a mediator.
Franklin Smith:
"Bils, calm down.."
"Bils, calm down.."
HONEY:
"I thought you were ordering pizza, Auntie Billie?"
"I thought you were ordering pizza, Auntie Billie?"
Honey chimes in and gets a momentary all eyes on her. Billie with a deer in headlights look as her cover story clearly catching on.
Franklin Smith:
"Lexie can have pizza, we can have the chili, there's the solution."
"Lexie can have pizza, we can have the chili, there's the solution."
Walter:
"Are you seriously implicating me for tampering with the chili?"
"Are you seriously implicating me for tampering with the chili?"
Franklin Smith:
"No, not at all."
"No, not at all."
Franklin says putting his hands on Walter's shoulders only to have them knocked off.
Billie:
"I know you did, I'm sorry Lexie."
"I know you did, I'm sorry Lexie."
Billie says apologising for Walter's apparent careless spicing to which Lexie shrugs, knowing full well to not pick a side in the argument she'd created.
HONEY:
"Auntie Billie said she ordered from Jeronimos Pizza so no more fighting everyone."
"Auntie Billie said she ordered from Jeronimos Pizza so no more fighting everyone."
Again Honey gets the glances until the door opens. Just as Honey tries to calm everyone down, Trixie's entrance to the kitchen with her arms folded took it a different way.
TRIXIE:
"I bet it's going to take a good while to deliver the pizza, all the way from Australia…just say it mom, Jerry again?"
"I bet it's going to take a good while to deliver the pizza, all the way from Australia…just say it mom, Jerry again?"

OFF-CAMERA
Lexie, Trixie's cousin sits on one of the various lounge beds enjoying some sun in her cousin's Vegas home, overlooking a beautiful clear pool as she finishes her iced tea drink and feels she needs a refill and heads inside the home.
LEXIE:
"Bored now."
"Bored now."
TRIXIE:
"So remember when I went to Norway? Before I went to Japan?"
"So remember when I went to Norway? Before I went to Japan?"
Franklin Smith:
"Yes, yeess I do."
"Yes, yeess I do."
Franklin urges her on to open up as Trixie finds it difficult, seeing where she was without a person in her life, she ponders if she really needed to have that emotional run of feelings she was still feeling in the wake of her Norway match for EWC.
TRIXIE:
"Well before that, back late last year I did a bit of a heritage test and found out that I'm rooted back to Norway in some way, and I remember mom wasn't overly keen on Norway or Wrestling…"
"Well before that, back late last year I did a bit of a heritage test and found out that I'm rooted back to Norway in some way, and I remember mom wasn't overly keen on Norway or Wrestling…"
Franklin Smith:
"So you're Norwegian"
"So you're Norwegian"
Unbeknowst to Trixie, he was asking for his own daughter's heritage considering the conversation he'd had with Billie and his partner Walter back in the end of 2015.
TRIXIE:
"Yes, my father who I thought, hey, since I'm becoming this successful star, maybe he'd want to meet me, the Prime Girl…his daughter. But no."
"Yes, my father who I thought, hey, since I'm becoming this successful star, maybe he'd want to meet me, the Prime Girl…his daughter. But no."
Trixie ends with a little catch in her voice
Franklin Smith:
"I never knew him, Trix, but -- he clearly is a coward and a fool to not want to meet you. I mean, look at where you are, what you've accomplished already."
"I never knew him, Trix, but -- he clearly is a coward and a fool to not want to meet you. I mean, look at where you are, what you've accomplished already."
TRIXIE:
"But I don't understand why."
"But I don't understand why."
Franklin Smith:
"I don't really know why…or what his reason is or how he couldn't want to, where or when, you know, all the questions are going to toy with you and it's best to not ask them."
"I don't really know why…or what his reason is or how he couldn't want to, where or when, you know, all the questions are going to toy with you and it's best to not ask them."
Franklin says hoping the question of Honey's mother would never come up.
Franklin Smith:
"Of course it's ok to have your reaction though, let them tears out because one day that well is going to run dry for him."
"Of course it's ok to have your reaction though, let them tears out because one day that well is going to run dry for him."
Trixie takes a little inhale and observes the view in front of her, her home, Vegas. Where she'd grown up and made her base camp for her career, for her family to visit as they were, her family who wanted to come, even those she did have minor frictions with, they were over.
TRIXIE:
"Well at least I have you."
"Well at least I have you."
Franklin Smith:
"Always, always, Trixie. You have me on speed dial, any time."
"Always, always, Trixie. You have me on speed dial, any time."
And she looks at him standing up to hug her, granted his moisturized hands and mango shampoo weren't the things she expected with a father figure but she felt fulfilled all the same.
TRIXIE:
"And I think I won't let it get me into a drunken state again."
"And I think I won't let it get me into a drunken state again."
Franklin Smith:
"Please don't do that again Trixie. Especially in Japan on you own. Let me say that again. Especially on your own, in Japan or anywhere else, I only said Japan because you were in Japan, and I was trying to be relevant."
"Please don't do that again Trixie. Especially in Japan on you own. Let me say that again. Especially on your own, in Japan or anywhere else, I only said Japan because you were in Japan, and I was trying to be relevant."
He says trying to correct himself to be correct, making Trixie cheer up slightly at how adorable it was and gives him a light shove at the shoulder to knock it off.
TRIXIE:
"I know what you meant, thanks, Uncle."
"I know what you meant, thanks, Uncle."
Franklin Smith:
"Let's go inside? Billie and Walter are making dinner, so I'd better get back in there before it's like Oberyn Martell vs The Mountain."
"Let's go inside? Billie and Walter are making dinner, so I'd better get back in there before it's like Oberyn Martell vs The Mountain."
Trixie stands up with a little squeal.
TRIXIE:
"You've been watching!"
"You've been watching!"
Franklin Smith:
"It's too addictive, since Honey moved into the guest house, we've been binge watching all the mature television shows we couldn't watch-"
"It's too addictive, since Honey moved into the guest house, we've been binge watching all the mature television shows we couldn't watch-"
Trixie opens up the door for her uncle and he steps through as Trixie steps herself through the door and closes it behind her.
Franklin Smith: (0.S.)
"-while Honey living at home. Walter wanted to start with daredevil, Game of Thrones all the way."

In Trixie's training room we find Franklin Smith, Trixie's uncle walks about, seeing the gym set up with machines all perfectly clean, yoga mats down for Trixie to wind down and relax as well as a ring that he wonders around.
Franklin:
"Now this right here is what Honey needs. A ring to work in from home, where I can keep an eye on her and so she's not doing any sort of risky moves"
"Now this right here is what Honey needs. A ring to work in from home, where I can keep an eye on her and so she's not doing any sort of risky moves"
Franklin:
"Not so keen on yellow ropes, I'd probably have gone with blue."

Billie: (O.S.)
(Laughing)
"Just jealous I got an incredible house from the break-up."

Franklin sighs as he begins to over hear her sister arguing with Walter, something he knew they pretended to hide from him.
Walter: (O.S)
"Payment for not being loved."
