The silence hung thick in the air as Matthew Shields’ eyes peered around the table, surrounded by seven different women.
“Tis truly wonderous that all of you can be here to celebrate Mother’s Day”
Matt smiled at his mother and new step mom, then turned and gave Kayla’s mother a smile. Matt’s sister rolled her eyes slightly as she sat in the farthest chair. His step sister sat by Kayla as she looked over at him with a wide grin. Kayla’s mother was to his left while his queen was right by his side, her younger sister Tasmin looked over at Matt’s sister as it seemed the two had gotten off to a rocky start.
“Why do you look so sour all the time, your brother sees the bright side in everything. You always look like ya face a face like a smacked ass…”
Tasmin snarled and turned her nose up before Kayla shook her head and sighed. Courtney didn’t say anything, just opting to flip off the youngest Richards woman, drawing a harsh glance from both her mother and step mother.
“Courtney, stop acting like that. You have been very rude since we got here.”
“Whatever, I’m gonna go up to my room and skype with Brittany.”
Courtney didn’t wait for a response, just got up and walked off, leaving the other women breathing a slight sigh of relief.
“I’m sorry about her. It’s not far to you or your lovely daughter.”
AnnaBella gave a polite smile and looked across at Tasmin with a small shake of her head before looking at Matthews mother Claire with an even wider smile
“Oh please, Tasmin is just as bad, she sometimes speaks out of turn and forgets that we aren’t in England where she can speak to everyone like she knows them, besides I’m sure Courtney is just being spirited…”
“Naw, she’s just pissed cause she wanted to hang out with her girlfriend this weekend.”
“Kylie, your step sister does not have a girlfriend.”
Kylie just nodded her head and grinned a bit.
“Seems like being… spirited is becoming a trend. Enough of that though, tell me more about yourself Anna, or do you prefer Bella, or AnnaBella?”
Matt’s mother smiled at her as her foot slowly moved under the table, rubbing across the mature dark haired woman’s leg. AnnaBella cleared her throat and bit her bottom lip as it curled up, much like Kayla had done in the past.
“Well, I don’t mind being called Bella, that’s what most people call me and since we all seem to be family here I would like that very much Claire. I must say you three have been quite kind to myself and my daughters. I’m sure Courtney will come around but until then lets not dampen the spirits…”
AnnaBella smiled warmly at Claire as Kayla raised an eyebrow looking at Tasmin who just shrugged looking as confused as her older sister. Kayla leaned over and laid her head on Matt’s shoulder whispering something inaudible to him. Matt smirked slightly as he whispered something back to Kayla, then kissed her.
“I will drink to that.”
Melissa raised her glass as she winked at AnnaBella.
“So Bella, anyone special in your life? I mean, someone as beautiful as you has to have lots of people chasing after her, but is there one special guy? Or girl?”
Melissa winked once more as she took Claire’s hand in hers.
“Uh, no. After the girl’s father passed I kind of faded into my shell. I worked hard to provide for Amber, Kay and Tassi. Now they have made money through their careers I have time to socialize but I’m afraid I have...forgotten how…”
AnnaBella looked over at Melissa and Claire licking her bottom lip before taking a drink, her bright green eyes shining in the light from above.
“Well me and Melissa would be happy to help you with that. Maybe after dinner we can have ourselves a MILF’s night out.”
Claire laughs a little as both her and Melissa keep their eyes on AnnaBella.
“Mother, I really wish you would not use such a term.”
“Relax Matt. All three of us are mom’s and all three of us are hot.”
“I should go and check on how dinner is progressing. Please mother, behave yourself while I’m gone.”
Matt gives Kayla a quick kiss then heads off towards the kitchen.
“He didn’t say I had to behave.”
Melissa laughed as she poured another glass of wine.
“I’m gonna go see if Matt needs any help.”
Kylie practically jumped out of her seat as she walked to the kitchen, almost bouncing with a giddy smile on her face.
“That was weird….”
Tasmin rolled her eyes looking at Kayla who just shrugged as the girls watched their mother laugh and carry on with Claire and Melissa. Tasmin pointed to her mouth in a fake vomit motion as Kayla simply laughed.
“She’s a fan. She apparently watched him back in some other company to. She has all of his shirts.”
Melissa shrugged a bit as she looked over at AnnaBella.
“So I have been dying to know this since I saw you. What do you to stay so thin and gorgeous?”
AnnaBella blushes and takes a sip of wine before clearing her throat.
“Well actually I train with Tasmin, she takes me to the gym and we do yoga. She wants to be a wrestler like Kayla and their older sister Amber. I just stay in shape...I’m much too old for anything else…”
She chuckles as Tasmin rolls her eyes
“Oh stop that, you’re not old at all.”
Claire smiled at AnnaBella as her foot moved farther up her leg.
“And the yoga is definitely working for you. Tasmin should ask Matt to train her some. Two sisters that wrestle and training from a champion, that would help her get her foot in the door. I’m sure if Kayla asked him, he would be happy to do it. I think you could get him to do anything you wanted.”
Melissa smirked at Kayla as she took a sip of her wine.
“Oh Tasmin has already had a few training sessions with Matthew and I believe she impressed.”
Kayla smirked as Tasmin blushed and shook her head before clearing her throat and getting up.
“I need to go and freshen up…”
As she walked passed Kayla she leaned down whispering in her older sisters ear.

Kayla laughed and took a deep breath before looking at her mother.
“Maybe Claire and Melissa could take you out to lunch tomorrow and you could give them some real estate tips mother….”
“That would be fantastic. We’re actually looking to get a bigger place. I sold my apartment when we got married, and Claire’s place is good but each of the girls need a room, she needs an office, I want a pool and a nice high wall for privacy. I like to tan naked and the little perv kid next door always tries to sneak a peak.”
“You love the attention. I swear this one would walk around naked all the time if the girls weren’t there. Not that I’m complaining.”
Claire gave Melissa a soft kiss while her leg continued up AnnaBella’s leg.
“Hmmm, does it seem like Matt and Kylie have been gone for awhile? I’m gonna go see what’s keeping them.”
Claire gets up and looks at Melissa and AnnaBella.
“Now, don’t go trying to seduce my wife while I’m gone.”
Claire laughs a little bit before she heads to the kitchen.
“Claire is quite something. I am very happy to see such a loving couple in this day and age. So many negative things you know?. I mean I must admit I was not happy with the girls father for a long time for many...reasons…”
AnnaBella lowers her voice as Kayla seems to get uneasy and fidget, she quickly changes the subject.
“So Melissa, how long are you and Claire staying?. Matthew and I have events to attend and matches but we enjoy having you around, my mother and sister are looking at relocating since Amber lives here as well and is...expecting.”
Kayla smiles wide at AnnaBella who beams with pride about her girls.
“Just a few days sweetie. Claire has clients to get back to. I love having the hot shark lawyer wife, but sometimes I wish our stays here could be longer, or we could do some big vacation. Even the honeymoon was only five days.”
Melissa takes a sip of her wine as she looks over to AnnaBella.
“I’m glad that you seem to like Matt. Always tough when the future mother in law doesn’t like the future groom.”
“Oh Matthew is amazing, he’s handsome, rich, smart, caring….I wish I had one fifteen years older to be honest….”
AnnaBella laughs and Kayla scoffs
“Oh please mother...I think you mean 20 years older…”

“I’m sure either would be all over a woman like you. Don’t tell Claire, but if I wasn’t married, I would definitely try and pick you up.”
Melissa winked at AnnaBella as she finished off another glass of wine, right as Kylie came in pouting.
“I’mma go up to my room for a little bit?”
“Hmmmm, I know that face. Someone told her no.”
Kayla raises an eyebrow and watches before getting up and going to see what happened. AnnaBella shook her head and sighed.
