THE QUEEN'S MESSAGE.
"Prosperity has been brought to me once more as I've successfully defended my New Gen Championship against three other men that sought to take away the one thing that I cherish. Heading into the contest many people wondered if I had what it took to stand my ground and defeat the insurmountable amount of talent that would've otherwise beaten me. People considered it to be an impossible task of a sort. They thought that I would fall through the cracks of pressure and be known as a woman who wasn't ready for the duties of being a champion. The pitiful fans were anxiously waiting in their seats to see me fall, but still, I stand here before you all with the gold in my rightful possession."
"Proceeding into the next Sunday Night Glory event as your unbeaten and undeterred champion, I can confidently say without a shadow of a doubt that Redemption Wrestling is truly in good standing as of the current moment. After all, my reign will herald a legacy that I will create and maintain, bringing forth more merit not only to my name but to this promotion as well. However, at the moment I cannot solely focus on defending my championship as there is something that has been bothering me since the conclusion of that fatal four way. It seems as though everyone in this sport has been fixated solely on the relationship between Martin Karloff and me... and I must admit that it is rather frustrating to know that."
"I mean, honestly. Since the last event that's the only kind of conversation that my name has been involved in. I have to wonder why that is the case because I find it incredibly fatuous that an immense amount of people are obsessed with circulating rumors around. There have been people desperately looking back at the match and dissecting every little part of it to conjure up anything that they deem to be "concrete evidence" when, in reality, it's nothing more but a load of pitiful bullshit. It never fails to amaze me how people can turn something completely coincidental into something massive, and what's even worse is that all of these speculations will only be furthered exacerbated by my upcoming match when Martin and I are paired up to take on the current tag team champions Rebel Ink."
"And you want to know what the real kicker in this entire thing is? This isn't the first time that Martin and I will be teaming together. This match with Rebel Ink will be the third match that we have as... partners. God, saying that word makes me want to fucking cringe."
"Anyway, let's carry on. Martin and I have teamed up during the house shows. We've beaten RC Tucker and Silas Subhuman back in Des Moines, though we came up short at the Green Bay, WI show in a fatal four-way tag team match. Compared to Rebel Ink, we certainly aren't specialists when it comes to this whole tag teaming aspect of wrestling. In fact, you all know how I feel about these matches. I prefer to work all by myself. I rather bask in the success that I've brought onto myself as opposed to sharing that spotlight or having to depend on another individual to get the job done. I could easily just walk away from this whole thing and leave Martin the same way I left Skye Dawkins and Courtney Leinhart out to dry. I wish I could give Devlin Scott my thoughts on this whole thing, but I can't. I just have to suck it up and carry on, even though I know for certain that by doing this the chatter will be nonstop about Martin and me. Plus, I don't want to deprive Rebel Ink of a grandiose ass kicking. I already did that to them before, so it wouldn't be fair of me to shrug them off yet again. I'm a benevolent and generous person, plus the prospect of the New Gen Champion conquering the Tag Team Champions does appeal to me."
"I suppose this had to happen. Even though this will only serve to add more fuel to the fire."

"You have got to be kidding me."
It was all that Caroline O'Hara Burchill could say at that moment. Her mouth remained an uncharacteristic grim line amid her steely face, even after spending a seemingly endless amount of time reviewing the footage that was displayed on her screen. She just didn't want to believe it. She didn't want to cave into all of the speculations and rumors. To her, they were nothing more than asinine fallacies that held no true weight. She repeatedly insisted on that being the case, but yet here she was with her mind swirling in a persistent whirlpool of vicious thoughts. Caroline just couldn't allow for herself to be at ease. Her hands firmly grasped at the sides of her coffee mug as she sat there and pondered to herself if it were all true.
Did Martin Karloff actually help her in that match?
It was a rather peculiar question for her, but she still found herself to be asking that very same question nonetheless. The commentators pointed it out, the fans pointed it out, and pretty much everyone else and their mother pointed it out. It amazed Caroline how obsessed everyone was with that one thought process. The more people spoke about it, it often made her wonder if they all were somehow sharing the same brain at times.
The same inane, half-witted brain, of course.
They were all nothing more but a bunch of gullible sheep that were reading into everything too much. It nearly made her mad; almost driving her to the brink of insanity. No matter how many times she played the footage, she failed to understand where everyone was coming from. It was infuriating, and Caroline couldn't help but heave out a heavy groan as she pinched the bridge of her nose, trying to comprehend the vast ideas that were floating about. However, she couldn't have that moment to herself as the knob turned and her office room opened. Once more Caroline groaned as she spun herself around to see Amy walking in.
"What is it?"
"I was just checking up on you. God, you look stressed as fuck."
"That's because I am stressed as fuck. You have no idea how annoying this shit is."
Caroline pointed to the computer screen which had a still frame image of when Martin Karloff seemingly helped her in the match. Upon glancing over at the moment captured, Amy rolled her eyes.
"Are you seriously still on that? Caroline, you honestly shouldn't be concerning yourself over that right now. All these people just love to make something out of nothing. It's no big deal."
"Yeah, easy for you to say..."
"Oh, don't be like that."
The blonde woman walked on over to Burchill, who was still displaying that stressed-as-fuck look on her face. Amy reached on over to press the power button to turn the computer off, and as expected, Caroline began to protest.
"What the hell are you--"
"No, no, no! Don't even start. This is for your own good."
Like a little child, the Aussie pouted her lips as she grumbled to herself and crossed her arms. Amy, meanwhile, simply had a small smile on her face as she turned her head to look back at Burchill.
"Look, let's just leave this whole thing alone, alright? Besides, you need to relax. Your body needs to recover after all of this added stress that you put on it, and worrying about this whole situation with Karloff isn't going to do you any favors. Besides, I doubt that you and he are going to continue with this after the next event. Don't fret so much about the little things."
"That's easier said than done."
"Yeah, well, the least you can do is try. You know, fake it till you make it kind of stuff."
Caroline didn't seem too convinced by that as she arched a brow at Amy. However, she eventually sighed and nodded her head.
"Yeah, whatever. If you say so."
Fake it till you make it.
But how can she fake any of this?
And how can she fake anything if Martin's intentions were real?
