Scene 001
April 6th, 2017 - Off Camera
Inside of the SoCal Grappling Academy, we see Alechs Aurelio running the ropes with a familiar face.It is West Coast Genesis wrestler, Keiji Sugiwara. Alechs uses an arm drag to Keiji, but he returns the favor with a dropkick. They both stop for a second to catch their breath>
Alechs: Whew man. You are quick.
Keiji bounces in place, in an attempt to keep his heart rate up. Alechs' words rattle in his mind for a moment, Keiji stops in place, turns to his ally, and speaks.
Keiji: Yeah, well if you aren’t blessed with an abundance of power, speed is your friend.
Alechs: Damn right! Us little dudes gotta stick together. Beat up those meat heads like Jock and Mason.
Alechs bounces around a bit to match Keiji, being the competitive person he is.
Keiji: God, don't even get me started. They think just because they are massive, they can pretty much run rough shot? To hell with that, damn right we have to stick together.
Alechs nods and heads towards Keiji. The Genesis talent grabs the arm of Alechs and falls to his back, pushing his legs into the abdomen of Aurelio. It monkey flips Alechs, who lands on his feet.
Alechs: Ha! Nice try!
Keiji looks astonishingly at Alechs, his grasp on the English language suddenly non existent. But, after a brief period he snaps too.
Keiji: Delta flight Alechs has landed, damn man, that was impressive. I am really going to have to step it up.
Alechs: I've been working a lot on some flippy shit. It's hard as Honey is afraid of high flying, so this might be good for the both of us.
Alechs leaf frogs over Keiji and hits the ropes coming back at him.
Keiji quickly ducks, but does so a little to soon giving Alechs an opening. Alechs simply rolls over Keiji and positions himself behind him. Alechs wraps his arms around Keiji's waist, but Keiji was ready. The Last Emperor drops to a knee, and sends Alechs over his shoulder.
Keiji: We really need to train together more, you seem to know what I will do before even I do.
Alechs pops up and laughs.
Alechs: Yeah, but you aren't half-
Alechs goes to kick, but Keiji sweeps him as Alechs falls to him back.
Alechs: -bad.
Another laugh.
Keiji: Striking I know a bit about.
Keiji helps Alechs up, but is immediately dragged to the mat. Alechs keeps a grip on the arm, and lightly begins to apply pressure.
Keiji: I know, I have to keep my guard up. Right?
Alechs: Always. You know how some guys can be. Taking advantage of you in moments of weakness.
He slowly works his way back up to his feet and gets Keiji into a wristlock.
Keiji tries to muscle his way out of the maneuver, but resistance is as they say futile. Eventually he manages to roll out of it and reverses into a wristlock of his own.
Keiji: Trying to keep me on my toes Alechs?
Alechs laughs.
Alechs: Maybe I might have to come to Cali and teach you a thing or two in a match one day. Genesis seems like a pretty good place.
Alechs uses some muscle to back Keiji up into a corner, his back hitting against it. Keiji breaks loose as Alechs charges forward.
Keiji charges right after Alechs, but once he reaches the opposite corner, Alechs uses the ropes to launch himself over his training parrner. Keiji, however, smashes chest first into the corer turnbuckle. A brief set back, but Keiji still manages to drop backward and drive his right foot into Alechs' shoulder causing him to stumble back.
Keiji: So a three person tag, I've seen your opponents. Have to say, I like your chances.
Alechs nods.
Alechs: Thank. I think we have a hell of a team.
Alechs holds his shoulder but charges forward and hits a blockbuster to Keiji.
Keiji: You definitely do, should be exciting to see.
Keiji rubs his neck a little as he rolls to his side and begins to pull himself to his feet. Alechs charges forward, but Keiji wisely drops back to the mat, and pulls the top rope down, sending Alechs out of the ring.
Alechs: Slick move.
He laughs.
Alechs: Let's take five.
Alechs heads into a cooler and grabs a couple of Gatorades. He tosses one to Keiji and sits on the ring apron.
Alechs: So you fitting well into WCG? I know for me, it was a HUGE decision to finally sign and just jump into it all.
Alechs: Slick move.
He laughs.
Alechs: Let's take five.
Alechs heads into a cooler and grabs a couple of Gatorades. He tosses one to Keiji and sits on the ring apron.
Alechs: So you fitting well into WCG? I know for me, it was a HUGE decision to finally sign and just jump into it all.
Alechs: Maybe we can make this a weekly thing?
He looks around the gym, seeing both newbies getting some instruction and some regulars getting some work in on the weights.
Keiji simply nods his head in agreement.
Keiji: Can't say it would be a bad idea, I think we'd both gain an edge. I mean if we are pushing one another now, just imagine if we did this regularly.
Keiji places the chilled Gatorade bottle on his forehead, and rolls it back and forth, before opening it once again and taking a sip.
Alechs: It's a deal.
He smiles.
Alechs: Well let's get back to it.

Leaning up against a cement wall, Alechs Aurelio has a brighter glow to him than normally. A giggle from off camera as Honey holds the camera.
Alechs: The Young Cubs seem to be growing. Lilly definitely sees eye to eye with us. And Keiji is definitely a cub in WCG. So as our numbers grow, so does our confidence. Two weeks ago we picked up a win. Not the way that we wanted to do it, but he stayed focused on the match and continue to go out there and do what we do. This weekend I get the luck to tag team with not just one, but two cute girls.
Honey speaks from off camera.
Honey: Hey!
Alechs laughs.
Alechs: You are my girlfriend and much cuter!
Honey: She is a cutie, though!
Honey replies off camera as she giggles again.
Alechs: We are taking on a mish mosh of a team. Rebel Manson, Red Dragon, and Nightshade. I guess that is what happens when you try to stick it out alone on your own. Lilly, Honey, and I have made it a pact to team up together. We got each other’s backs. And we’ve formed a bond as friends. Once Keiji comes up to the big leagues, you might call us the Fearsome Foursome!
Alechs offers a slight laugh.
Alechs: So far both Nightshade and Rebel have been quiet. And no one has heard from Rebel in awhile. But Red Dragon talked about survival. It is hard to survival when you are a part of a sinking ship. The Cubs? We will rise to the top. We have nothing to worry about and are confident in our abilities. We will see you on Sunday. When we walk out as winners.
