Ashleigh is laying by the pool on chaise wearing a bikini that she looks amazing in. Her body is glistening as she sits back with her eyes closed and a pair of sunglasses covering her face. Gavin comes walking up in a pair of black swim trunks and some flips flops on his feet which Ash can hear. As he sees Ash lying there the way she is, he can't help but make a comment on it.
Gavin Grimes: "Okay, maybe we can cut out the talking and save it for later so I can take you back to the room looking like that!"
He lets out a light laugh. She pulls down her sunglasses and scooches over, patting the chaise next to her.
Ashleigh Grimes: "Sit. You can have me anytime you want me. For now tell me what's on your mind."
She smiles warmly and immediately starts to rub his back when he sits. He smiles and relaxes as she rubs his back.
Gavin Grimes: "Well... I know you weren't to happy with me getting hurt and to the extent of it but..."
He turns his head slightly so his eyes meet hers.
Gavin Grimes: "You're okay if I still wrestle, yeah? I promise I'll avoid those kinds of matches."
She furrows her brow.
Ashleigh Grimes: "When have I ever told you to quit. You're welcome to wrestle whenever you'd like... within reason."
She grins.
Ashleigh Grimes: "Why? Do you have something booked?"
He smiles widely.
Gavin Grimes: "Well I'll make sure it's always within reason."
He lets out a light laugh.
Gavin Grimes: "I'm not booked but I have a contract offer.”
Ashleigh Grimes: "Oh? With who?"
She tilts her head curiously but her demeanor is calm and open.
He shrugs.
Gavin Grimes: "Redemption. When I look at it, it's still NGW to me... And I still have unfinished business there."
Her jaw drops a little.
Ashleigh Grimes: "Wow... I'm surprised. I mean I guess it makes sense but is there someone you're looking to beat there?"
Gavin Grimes: "Honestly? I built that place up too much to see an asshole like Matthew Shields parade around as their top guy. And now Malone and Bull are there?"
He smirks.
Gavin Grimes: "I think it'll be nice to put them all back in their place again for old times sake."
She laughs.
Ashleigh Grimes: "Sounds like the quality has gone downhill fast. Does the company travel still?"
He nods.
Gavin Grimes: "They do! So wanna come along? I'll let you be my manager? Or you can be in a luxury box every show. I bet I can get that in the contract."
He says playfully. She laughs and leans up to steal a kiss.
Ashleigh Grimes: "I'll come to your shows but not in any official capacity. Besides, I'm pretty sure Devlin will give me whatever I want anyways."
He gasps playfully.
Gavin Grimes: "Whaaaat? Are you trying to make me jealous!?"
She rolls her eyes.
Ashleigh Grimes: "Why? Is it working?”
Gavin Grimes: "Maybe!"
He leans in and grins.
Gavin Grimes: "What're you gonna do about it?"
She shrugs and strikes a smoldering pose.
Ashleigh Grimes: "Enjoy it."
Gavin Grimes: "Enjoy this!!!"
He reaches over and starts to tickle her sides lightly. She screams out as people start to look over and her hands grab at his wrists.
Ashleigh Grimes: "Gavin! Stop!!"
He keeps tickling her as he laughs.
Gavin Grimes: "Stop making me jealous then!"
Ashleigh Grimes: "Okay, OKAY!!!! People are staring!!"
She squees loudly is about to fall off the chaise.
He stops and grabs onto her so she doesn't fall off and he ends up peering into her eyes, getting lost into them like he always does before he leans in and kisses her softly. Her hand reaches out and grasps the back of his head as they begin making out poolside. When they finally break off she stares into his eyes while biting her bottom lip.
Ashleigh Grimes: "I love you."
He smiles and rests his forehead on hers.
Gavin Grimes: "I love you too. Thank you for supporting me in everything that I do."
She smiles.
Ashleigh Grimes: "You don't have to thank me. I'm happy to do it. Loving you is the best decision I ever made."
Gavin is smiling from ear to ear.
Gavin Grimes: "I'm so telling everyone you said that!"
He chuckles and Ashleigh follows it up with a shrug.
Ashleigh Grimes: "I don't care. Doesn't matter who knows it."
He smiles and nods.
Gavin Grimes: "Good. Because I'm not really going to tell anyone anyway. This moment... All of our moments... They're just for you and me and I don't want it any other way."
She grins playfully.
Ashleigh Grimes: "So no more throwing me in the shower for ratings?"
He shakes his head.
Gavin Grimes: "I'd never, ever do that to you again. I hated myself for that."
Ashleigh Grimes: "Hey."
She gently pushes his shoulder while smiling.
Ashleigh Grimes: "It was a joke. That's long behind us and we can laugh about it now, okay?"
He smiles and nods.
Gavin Grimes: "You're right. You know how I am sometimes. Always in my head."
Gavin lets out a light laugh before Ashleigh nuzzles her nose against his before looking him in the eyes.
Ashleigh Grimes: "Well get out of there, we're on vacation!"
He leans in and breathes up against her lips before smiling as their eyes still stay connected.
Gavin Grimes: "You get me out of there every time with one look of your eyes."
She flutters her eyelashes playfully before the two begin to kiss passionately.

[Rooftop to Gavin’s Apartment Complex]
[4:00 AM on March 29th, 2017]
The scene opens up with Gavin Grimes sitting down on the ledge of the rooftop of the apartment complex that he and Ashleigh, his wife, live in. There’s a cool breeze going through the night and the sky is clear with bright stars filling up the entire sky. Gavin’s head is tilted upward as he studies the stars, looking at them in deep thought. He eventually moves his head to his left where the camera is recording him from and he smiles slightly.
Gavin Grimes: ”Sometimes when I can’t sleep, I come up here and reflect. There’s been many nights since NGW closed that I’ve ended up here… Wondering what I was going to do next. I chose a path that nobody expected and joined #FSociety Wrestling. I didn’t join for glory or for championships but I joined because something inside of me wanted to be put to my limits. I’ve never said this to anyone, not even Ash, but I wanted to be hurt. I wanted to go beyond the limits that the majority of people in this business would go. I wanted to fight someone who would do whatever it took to beat me… Someone who had the same mentality as me.”
“That person was Allyson Grace Morrow. I had my eyes set on her for awhile. Why? Because she reminded me of myself. Someone who was relentless in the ring… Someone who refused to give up no matter what the circumstances. When you fight for over a year in about thirty matches without losing, things start to get boring. You want to know why I did join Redemption when it reopened under a new brand? It’s because I dominated this place like nobody has before. While Matthew Shields run as been impressive, it’s not comparable to mine. Nobody’s is. Hell, nobody’s run is comparable to what Ashleigh and I did over about a year’s time.”
“But all of that… The glory, the wins… All of it… It became tiring. It changed me into a man that my wife, Ashleigh, didn’t even recognize anymore. I became obsessed and ugly. It got to the point where Ashleigh and I were pitted against each other and if NGW’s doors didn’t close, we were a few weeks away from fighting for my NGW Unified Championship. Was I scared of that match? Yeah, I was. Not because of what you think though. I’m not afraid of Ashleigh. I’m just afraid of what a match would do to two competitive people like us. I don’t want that and I’m glad it didn’t happen. But I still hit an ugly point, I still became a monster of sorts.”
Gavin sighs and shakes his head before glancing back up at the stars.
Gavin Grimes: ”So I decided that I needed to be tested. I needed to fight someone who, if I pushed the right buttons, would try to kill me. I needed to not have a wrestling match but a fucking war in the middle of the ring and the only person who could give me that was Ally. I got what I wanted. We practically killed each other and for the first time in over a year, my shoulders were pinned to the mat. Do I feel shame? No. In fact, I think it’s made me better. Losing doesn’t mean I lost a step but it’s given me a better perspective of my career and of this sport. It’s given me a breath of new life. Now you’re all probably asking yourselves, ‘why are you talking about this, Gavin?’ But it’s simple. Going through that experience made me want to come home.”
“I didn’t join Redemption because I wasn’t ready, it wasn’t because I didn’t want to. In fact, this is where I wanted to be all along. But I needed to do what I did with Ally first and she did what no one else did and took me to the limit. But I also did the same to her, which no one else has done. I’m happy about it despite how badly it hurt… Despite being laid up for weeks… Despite not being able to do anything for over a month… It was fucking worth it.”
Gavin stands up from the ledge and walks towards the camera and looks into it confidently.
Gavin Grimes: ”And now here I am, booked against Blair Laroux, formerly known as Blair Kivisto. I feel like she’s going to bring up the IPW versus NGW match where she ALMOST pinned me but Ash made the save and I got the pin over Blair. But the thing is, that was like a year ago. I’m not concerned with that moment and in fact, Blair was on fire back then. But right now? She’s not the same competitor. She flamed out in #FSociety before ending up here and being in another shitty tag team with her ex-husband. Tsk, tsk, tsk Blair. Didn’t you learn already that you’re shit when you team with Joseph?”
“Whether I interfered or not, you weren’t legit going to beat Rebel Ink. That match wasn’t relevant. It didn’t matter. I did what I had to do and I proved a point to the entire Damage Inc team and that’s not to fuck with me. They fucked with me when they were AoD and I’m not dealing with that shit again. I’ll take every single one of them out, one by one if I have to. But you, Blair? You were just an innocent bystander who became a casualty by getting in my way. I felt a little bad for hitting you with a DDT but you know what? You shouldn’t of chased after me. You asked to get dropped and you’re lucky I didn’t do worse.”
“But at Glory in a couple weeks, you’re going to be in my way and I’m going to have to drop you with The Crowning and show the world that you’re just not on my level. You think you are but the facts are that you’re washed up. It’s why you’re a tag team wrestler. While I’ve thrived in tag matches with my wifey, I’m still a singles competitor and one of the best fucking wrestlers alive. You’re just an old bitch who needs to be put the fuck down. You’re holding onto your past when you used to win titles and became a hall of famer of a couple companies. But that was so long ago. So much has changed, including your wrestling ability. Maybe the old.. .Wait, check that, the younger Blair, would have been able to hang with me. But this version of you? You don’t even deserve to be in this match with me.”
“The only reason you’re fighting me is because YOU got in my way and I dropped your ass with a DDT. So, do you think you’re going to get revenge in this match? Do you think that you’re finally going to one up me? If so, then you better think again. You need to accept the reality of the fact that I’m the greatest wrestler that this company has and will ever see. At Glory in Milwaukee… The prodigal son returns…. And I’m not going to let you or anyone else ruin my first night back in the ring. Let me lay down the facts for you, Blair… I’m going to wrap my arms around your head and drop you with The Crowning before pinning you for the 1… 2… 3! I’m back and I’m here to take back what’s mine.
