The Hermit was cast out of the hell he had created, and was forced to live amongst the world he had hid from for so long. The monster sought to create a following for himself using the creations of God, as to seek revenge for his transgression against the hermit. For nearly a thousand years, he went to all nations, and did what he could to turn them into monsters. As they committed themselves to Him, he would bless them with power beyond human capabilities.
In human history, there was a tribe that truly coveted the powers bestowed upon them. Their enemies called the hermit’s followers many things. History calls them pagans, vikings called them berserkers, civilizations called them savages, God called them “heathen devils”, but He just called them Nite Stalkers. They were dubbed this, as their mentalities would become that of the demons and predators that haunt humanity. The Nite Stalkers roamed the Earth, taking on His form, and destroying all that laid in their way. They would drink the blood of their enemies, and give Him praises for every victory they won. As their numbers grew, so did his power. For each human that converged with him, the stronger his control on the world became.
This is when God sent out his conquerors and his colonists, to drive out this devil’s followers. In retaliation, the hermit made his people scatter, hiding amongst all the tribes and natives in the world. Thus, when God’s plan for the mass extermination of his enemies was set into motion, the murder of countless innocent gentiles that lived in these lands. God, unable to create an adequate apology for his mistakes and transgressions upon his children, turned from the Earth. His children still prayed to him, but he could not bare the thought of the sins that had been committed in his name.
