That is heard before the scene opens up on the promo station area, Lan pacing around it with El Bombardero Azul
standing in behind his line of path. The manager is grumbling to himself loudly, scratching his head, putting his hands on his hips, folding his arms, he keeps fidgeting and fluctuating between these gestures. Unable to settle on what to do with himself, he stops in the middle of his path and he throws his arms up in disbelief and huffs.
"What?!"
Lan repeats himself, looking around in disbelief as if some answer will materialize itself for him. He pinches the bridge of his nose and he frowns, letting out an audible sigh. Frustration is setting in, Azul tries to ease it a little by putting a hand on Lan's shoulder.
"I can't believe this!"
The manager takes a hard swallow, adjusting his tie and tightening it better into place. He stares into the camera with his focus growing steadier by the second.
"Where to begin? My client, Ryan Keys, is cheated out of his championship match and he's not rightfully granted a rematch? Where is the justice in that? But I'm willing to believe that maybe management is working that out. Maybe the gears are in place to give Ryan a fair opportunity."
Nodding his head, Lan takes some deep breaths and tries to calm himself a little over that. He glances at Azul and Azul nods, giving a thumbs up.
"But for the second show in a row my clients, Caspian Kace and El Bombardero Azul are forced to fight each other. While all three of us are about the spirit of competition, surely it's questionable to pit my clients against each other yet again? Surely you can understand the type of compromised position that puts me in? It doesn't benefit me for either of them to win, because it hurts the other client."
Lan pauses, wetting his lips. Keeping his eyes locked on the camera he checks his cuffs, ensuring they're on tightly.
"I know it might be seen as a naive concept to most, a novel lark, but when I take on a client I wish to do absolutely everything in my power to propel their career and to watch out for them, to take care of them. It is an oath to me, and I take maintaining my word very seriously. An oath I feel will be strained through no power of my own, no say or doing of mine this coming Unscripted."
He tries to keep his temper, maintain his composure, calmly explaining in a hushed tone why he's getting so upset about the situation his clients find themselves in. Closing his eyes, he squeezes them shut for a moment when he talks about the strain he feels this puts on the oath. Looking a little weary when he finishes his explanation.
"But what I can promise you is that my two clients are going to put on one of the best matches you've ever seen in West Coast Genesis. You have two men that are some of the most talented athletes in the world. That can do things that most wrestlers can only in their wildest dreams consider performing. That have more heart and passion for this business than some world champions in companies out there."
Calming down a little, Lan smiles when he thinks what the two of them are possible of. Azul nods his head and he gestures making a C and then a K, and then gives a thumbs up to follow it up behind Lan.
"You want a show stealing match? You're going to get one!"
Lan firmly nods and he adjusts his tie again, gesturing with his head for Azul to follow him. The two walk out of shot and the scene slowly fades to black.
