CAROLINE
the new classic.
"YOU ALL ARE ABSOLUTELY FUCKING PATHETIC."
Pacing back and forth, Caroline O’Hara Burchill could be seen as the video opens up. A disgruntled groan is heard as Caroline doesn’t look pleased. She grumbles a few words underneath her breath before she rolls her eyes and sighs.
“Oh, boo-fucking-who. Trixie got a win over me. So what? Should I honestly take that lowly bitch seriously all because she made some cute, little list outlining the people that she wants to beat? Is it expected of me lower my head in shame and embarrassment as I let one insignificant speck of the universe get one over me?"
A nonchalant shrug. Quite frankly, Caroline doesn’t seem to care, even if a hint of bitterness can be detected in her voice.
“Yes, she was the better wrestler that night. Yeah, she's most likely going to get her match soon... and maybe sooner if her head game is competent enough for the match to come. So, congrats, Trixie! I guess that stupid little list of yours is all checked out now, huh? Oh, please. What an absolute joke…"
A scoff and another rolling of the eyes is what she does as Caroline continues to pace back and forth.
“Moving on from that now though.. I love how all of a sudden a lot of the wrestlers here are coming after me. I mean, no one was accepting my challenge when I was without a clear contender leading up to WrestleForce. No one was willing to face me for my title on the biggest stage for Redemption Wrestling. Now people are suddenly interested?”
“You people make me laugh. A group of comedians is what you all are. All of you are standing on your soapboxes and declaring yourselves as being better suited for the New Gen Championship. It’s quite amusing to watch everything unfold before my very eyes.”
“But hey. With so many of you wanting a shot at my belt, it can be viewed as a testament to how much my name actually matters here. You can deny it all you want, but if I’m suddenly having all of you keep my name in your mouths, then I’m obviously getting all of your attention. Good or bad, folks can’t take a simple breath without letting my name slip through their lips, and that’s more than enough confirmation for me when it comes to my worth in this promotion.”
“After all, who else is actively travelling the world while having the gold strapped to their waist? Martin Karloff never did that. Anton Chase sure as hell never did that. I’m stepping inside the ring with a multitude of wrestlers from all different backgrounds on a regular, consistent basis and I’m putting this promotion’s name out there.”
She looks at the camera and shakes her head, chuckling a bit to herself.
“Come on people. Show a little more respect for the fucking face of Redemption Wrestling,” is what she says as she nods her head. Of course, Caroline thought that she had some value in the promotion. She should since she’s in possession of the second-most prestigious belt in the company. In her mind, people needed to show her respect… regardless of how ludicrous she could come off as being at times.
“Respect will be given to me on Sunday when I go up against Jack Tillman and Mason Moore in another triple threat match. It seems like these two boys have forgotten who exactly they are dealing with because they think that I’m slipping up as champion. Just because I lost last week and my record isn’t exactly the most perfect doesn’t mean that I still don’t pose a serious threat. However, Tillman and Moore think that they will get the better of me this time around…”
“I mean, it’s cute. Moore has been dipping back and forth between being relevant and being an absolute nobody while Tillman thinks he’s all business and can get the job done inside the ring. Both men want to be inserted in the New Gen title conversation when I already have that joke The Jew Blazer and that bimbo Trixie wanting to salvage their names just so that they can actually matter again. So many people are vying for the chance to take this belt away from me... and I guess it's commendable. The competition is starting to pick up, even though I still find it ridiculous how no one was willing to step up to me when I challenged everyone in Redemption Wrestling to a match for the belt."
She stops for a moment and laughs.
"God, you fucktards are absolutely confusing."
Letting out a sigh, Caroline flips her hair over her shoulder as she carries on.
"Regardless of the timing though, people like Moore and Tillman want to make a mockery out of me. They want to expose, humiliate and disregard everything that I've done as the New Gen Champion. There's a reason why this belt has been with me even when Devlin was trying so hard to throw curveballs at. The fatal four-way. Anton Chase. The Jew Blazer. Josh Kennedy. These matches were designed with the sole intent of testing me to see if I was worthy of being the New Gen Champion... and dare I say, I passed each and every single last one of them with flying colors."
"Even when I have multiple people gunning for me all at once or a surprise comes up that's supposed to throw me off, I always bring my A-game. My senses become sharp and like a hunter protecting my trophy, I always aim for the kill when I am threatened. My glory is preserved, and I make sure that I make an emphatic statement with each obstacle I am able to hurdle."
She returns her gaze to the camera, having a more serious look to her as she spoke.
"I don't back down. So, Moore and Tillman? If you really think that either of you are even worthy of stepping up to the Killer Queen, then you better not disappoint me when we cross paths at Glory. As always, I will be the valiant champion that I am and defend my honor, my name, and my prestige, even if this belt isn't on the line."
"And as for the rest of you watching, you will remember why you should never look down on Caroline O'Hara Burchill. I will not let a simple loss to Trixie get to me. Any faults and mistakes I make will not hinder me. I will stand tall and unbroken... because champions never die, and so long as I am the New Gen champ, I will fight with all the life that I have within me to make sure that people don't forget who the fuck they're dealing with."
Her signature smirk appears on her face as Caroline continues to pace back and forth, up until the scene fades off into darkness.
