-Jack and I, we're on our way to Charlotte North Carolina. Traveling by private plane from Chicago Illinois where the two of us live. Immediately after Glory, we're flying to Japan so Jack can wrestle for NJFC. After Japan, Jack wrestlers for Hollywood Pro over in Los Angles California. Finally, Wednesday we make our way over to Carny Pro to wrestle in Houston Texas. No rest for the wicked. All these promotions….all to make Jack a better wrestler. Thank God we’re flying to all these destinations. Back in the day when I use to wrestle, it was nothing but driving by car. Omaha to New York? Car. Orlando to Houston? Car. Portland to Denver? Car. San Diego to Boston? Car. I swear wrestlers today, they don't get paid like I use to get paid back in the territory days.
-Back in those days, after paying for food, gas, hotels, beer, rent with an apartment that you barely saw, and other numerous expensive from the road…..you barely made it even. But those days were fun. You grew a bond with the guys you drove with. Telling stories and hoping to make it out of the arena that night. Today, it's nothing but social media and who can get the most likes from a slutty looking picture. I'm glad social media or Mobil phones weren't around back in my day, if so I wouldn't be in the wrestling business today. I did and said to many stupid things that would had gotten my ass ex communicated from the industry.
-From this whole social media phenomenon, I've been getting crap day after day about how I threw in the towel for Jack during his match with Fujiwara. He should had tapped! He's less of a man for you throwing in that towel. He would had gotten out!
-Blah, blah, blah.
-Nothing but Monday Morning Quarterbacks who know nothing about the business and people with to much time on their hands. I've known Jack since he was in diapers. He wasn't going to submit. He would had blacked out of ripped his own damn leg off to get out of the submission. So I did what was best for Jack and threw the towel in. I don't reply to any of the criticisms because who are they to me? I'm one of the top managers in the industry today. Everyone replying to my twitter feed are most likely people living in their parents basement. They're just as pathetic as those efed losers.
-Well, not the best place to do a promo but I guess now is better than never. Besides, it's about a two hour flight and I have nothing else better to do. Jacks taking a nap so I don't have to worry about asking him if he wants to pitch his two cents. Flipping open my iPad, I push record and away this promo goes.
Chris Constantine: “Since last Glory where my client, Jack Tillman, lost to the Redemption Heavy Weight Champion Fujiwara, I've heard nothing but people dismissing Jack as a fraud. As a joke. That he's not that dangerous of a man. That he doesn't belong to be in he same ring as someone like Fujiwara.
Well my response to all the comments and commentary from these so called experts is…..did you even watch the match? Or did you watch something completely different than what I watched……because I watched a 21 year old young man go one on one with the very best this company has to offer. A veteran of wrestling. I saw two professional wrestlers beat the living shit out of one another. I saw a match where either man could had won that night. So for all you defectors of my client out there that don't think that he isn't the real deal……you're just like the majority of the wrestlers for Redemption……nothing but talk and hot air. While my client Jack Tillman……is less about talking and more about proving himself. And last Glory he proved himself as one of the best Redemption has to offer.
Now this coming Glory, my client faces off against Mason Moore and the New Gen Champion Caroline Burchill in a triple threat match. Management should had made it for the title because god knows when the hell the New Gen Title was actually defended last. Riddle me this, who has Burchill defended the title against as of late? Can you tell me? Because I sure as hell don't know. Most likely against a Jobber who didn't deserve a title shot in the first place. How,many great New Gen Title matches pops up in your mind under Ms. Burchill? And because of those questions, what's the New Gen Title anyway except for an object to place your drink on? It's supposed to be second must have title in Redemption and yet I'm getting better matches out of the Genesis Title and Young Lion Title than the New Gen Title.
Wouldn't that be something Devlin? Actually give the New Gen Title a worthy opponent for once? Jack would perfectly fit the bill wouldn't you think? Hint, hint. But I guess Burchill is facing someone already that's “worthy” of her talent. Someone that doesn't have the training like Jack. Someone that doesn't have the determination like Jack. Someone that's a sports entertainer and not a professional wrestler like Jack.
And don't even think about putting Mason Moore in the title hunt for the New Gen Title Devlin because the guy….he thinks to small. The dude has been wanting the Genesis title for how long now and hasn't been able to win it? And let's be honest, the Genesis title is nothing more than a participation trophy for the lower card guys. So if Mason Moore is so small minded and wants to be a mid carder for the rest of his career…..that's fine. Jack on the other hand, he's thinking bigger. That's why Jack hasn't gone back to the Genesis Title. He had his fun with it, now he's on to better and bigger things.
So in closing, I……….”
-Before I can say another word, a hand is placed on my shoulder. Looking up, I see Jack has woken up and knows that a promo is going on. Knowing that he probably wants to talk, I quickly move out of my seat so that Jack can get his two cents in. Sitting down, Jack lays back in the chair and softly addresses the camera.
Jack Tillman: “Mason……Burchill……..this week I'm going to keep on doing to you what I've been doing to you two since I first met you. And that's dominate. Either it be on road shows or on Glory, I've walked out of that ring while you two were on your back looking up at the ceiling wondering what the hell happened. You can talk all you want about how you're going to win this match but at the end of the day…… it only matters what happens in that ring and the actions you take in it……and out of the three of us…..I'm better than the two of you combined. Never been pinned. Never been submitted. Total…..dominance.”
-And with that, Jack turns the pad off and makes his way back to his seat. Well…..I think that deserves a drink! With that, the scene ends as I make my way over to the bar.
