Hunk's Mansion, Las Vegas, Nevada
The large double doors of Hunk's Mansion are shoved open as a group of twelve women walk in. Right in front is a woman who looks to be in her earyly forties. She has on a plastic tiara and a large pink sash with BACHELORETTE scrolled across it. The oman look at the stage and smile as a man holds a cowboy hat in his hand and grinds on the stage while "Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy" blares through the club.
"I would ride that cowboy."
The bachelorette yells out as he friends laugh. Beside her, a woman who looks very simolar in appearance and age just shakes her head.
"You're about to be a married woman Katie."
"Relax, Kelly. Come on, you're my maid of honor, have some fun with us."
"I think you and Layla there are having enough fun for all of us."
Katie looks over to see a blonde woman who appears to be in her mid thirties, shove a twenty in the g-string of the cowboy, then smack his ass.
"Whooooooo, get it girl."
Kelly downs two of the shots brought to the table and starts to have some fun. The other girls are definitely enjoying themselves and a few run off to get private dances as the blonde comes back.
"So cute, but I want to save my money for STEEL. He is the biggest, sexiest piece of man candy I have ever seen."
"I'm guessing you've been here a few times, huh Layla?"
The blond smirks and winks at Kelly as the cobowy finishes up.
"Ladies, are you ready for the strongest? Are you ready for the hardest? Are you ready, to FEEL THE STEEL?"
Layla lets out a high pitched scream as an unknown sing begins to play, it's heavy on the bass as a very large man walks out in a pair of short black shorts and a black ton top that clings to his muscles. He flexes his biceps that each have large silver metallic bands wrapped around them. He flexes a bit, gyrates his hips for a bit, then rips the tank top off.
"MASON!!??"
The large man looks out in the crowd and sees Kelly standing up, staring right at him.
"MOM?"
Mason Moore's eyes go wide, but he turns away to try and finish up. His mother looks down, her head in her hands as Mason quickly finishes up, cutting the set short a little bit, much to the displeasure of the crowd.
"Please tell me I didn't just see that?"
Kelly looks up at her sister Katie, with a look of shock and near disgust on her face.
"So I'm guessing Mason didn't tell you about this, huh?"
Kelly just shakes her head no, and takes another shot.
"Well, you can't really get to mad at him. You do remember what we both did in college, right?
"Don't bring that up."
Kelly feels a large hand on her shoulder and turns around to see Mason in a normal pair of shorts and a sleeveless red shirt that fits a bit looser.
"Uhm... do you want to talk about this or just move on from the awkwardness, laugh and tell me you still love me?"
Mason looks down at his mother with a sheepish grin as she looks up at him, then stands, hugs him and gives him a kiss on the cheek.
"Be safe, don't do anything more than dances."
Kelly shakes her head, hugs her sister and then exits. Mason takes a deep breath as Layla walks up to him.
"Hey big man."

Spectrum Center, North Carolina
Mason Moore sits in one of the highest rows of the Spectrum Center. The trucks loaded in earlier and the crew has already left for the night. The ring sits in pieces on the floor in the middle of the arena, ready for the workers to set it up in the morning. It was strange to see the pieces laid out like this. He could picture everything in his head though. The bright blue ropes, the grey canvas, the barricades all around, the screaming fans packed inside. Tonight though, it was him and him alone. He got up from his seat, sat down on the step between sections 227 and 228, row S. He took his iPad, placed it on the arm of the seat to his right and used the case to prop it up as he started recording, while still looking down at the ring.
"Remember, the championship can only change hands on a pin fall or submission."
Mason shakes his head and sighs slightly as he turns towards the camera.
"One of the oldest rules in wrestling, and one of the stupidest. At least when it ends up screwing you over. It was done to keep people from interfering, putting the title on a lesser competitor, and then challenging them. The problem is, the cowards, the cheap champions, they started using it to their advantage. That's why this week, rather than finding myself defending my newly won Genesis title against RC Tucker, I find myself in a triple threat match. Funny thing about this match, I once again face a champion, as well as someone else who screwed me out of winning the Genesis title. Funny thing is, that false champion, she opens the show, and I'm in the semi main event. At least Devlin knows who brings more money in. He still needs to do the right thing and book me in another match with Blair, so i an prove that I am the true and rightful Genesis champion."
Mason looks at the camera, but it's almost like he's looking right at Devlin Scott and waiting to hear that he's the number one contender.
"This show though, it's not about Blair or her hypocritcal bullshit. No, it's about Caroline O'Hara Burchill... damn that is a long as name. I'm just gonna call her Carrie from now on. So this show, it's about Carrie and Jack Tillman. If you look at that stats, Tillman is the favorite. He's got the highest win loss percentage, and his four defenses of the Genesis title prove that he's good in high profile situations. Not to mention, he's got the x-factor with that snake Constantine. Stats don't really paint the whole picture though. Hell, the one person in this match that's a recognized champion, she's got as many wins as she does losses, and the lowest win loss percentage of all three of us. She also has two title defenses and over one hundred days with that title, and she's been performing incredibly well in the All Female Invitational. Same time, she lost a triple threat match last show, and she took the pin fall. Actually, I was the only one who won my match last week."
Mason smirks and raises his hands up as he looks at the camera.
"I've been on a roll as of late. My last three matches, I defeated a former NGW champion, the current Young Lions Champion, and the current Genesis champion. You look at my track record, it's almost a guarantee that I'm gonna add a win over the current New Generation champion. What's next, a match against Damon or Aurora Graves? Just continue on with the championship crusher tour?"
Mason smiles and gives a wink towards the camera.
"Now, in all seriousness, this is a huge match for me and there are giant implications for all three of us. For Tillman, a win could push him in to contendership for the New Gen title. If he can win that, he wold be the first person in Redemption history to have held two different singles titles. For Carrie, if she loses to either one of us, her field of challengers grows even wider. For me, I could find myself in the position of choosing which title I want to challenge for. For me, that's an easy choice, but for a lot of people it would be a very intriguing and difficult dilemma. All three of us have a lot to gain, and a lot to lose tomorrow night. In a triple threat match, the question isn't, who's the best wrestler, or who wants it more, or even who can do the most damage, it's who's the smartest, who's the most aware, who is gonna take advantage of the opening and opportunities presented to themselves in the best possible way? Who is gonna use one of the others and stab them in the back before they get stabbed in the back? These matches are all about strategy and intelligence, and I have no doubt that my opponents will underestimate mine, make that critical mistake, I'll take advantage, and record yet another win over a current champion."
Mason smiles as he stands up, reaches over to one of the chairs and pulls what looks like a title off it. He slings it over his shoulder opposite from the camera, then ends the recording with the camera unable to figure out what he has on his shoulder.
