I wanted to ask this question because I thought it would be fun to see all the different methods. I'm expecting some to just say they freewrite and go with it. But I thought I'd show some of my methods.
One I often use is Lace Method. So this show gone. I gather up all the important bits into a jumble of lists, like this little one.
And what I do is I lable each one.
So now that I have all of them listed. I look at how they'll tie together.
The bottom one is the promo topic, her match and so I try to make sure every item is laced with that. So the points are all entangled into one bit.
And what I do then is I ask myself these three questions?
1) What is the point of this match?
2) What does this match mean to Honey?
3) What does this chapter do for her when the cameras aren't rolling?
And I'd sort of answer them, to try and take the match and make it more popular to myself.
1 - This match's point is to allow Honey her own Jack Tillman, where Trixie battled the man, now Honey has her own to overcome. To prove she's Brave and won't run from this fight.
2 - To Honey, it means she's getting more opportunties to show her skill, her rana-readyness and her singles career that she showed when she faced Mark Storm. And stand alone and not depend on anyone.
3 - As for this chapter. It looks to be a divide for Young Cubs who usually train together for the same match. Alechs and her opponent are similar by the way of their hot headedness so perhaps there's a story about that to bring into the promo. Honey also gets to talk to Sven about her latest wins. Other ideas is to sprinkle some comedy in by having them hear bits of Honey's conversation with Alechs to think she's now doing drugs, over assuming due to Alechs' arrest and Honey having some night time medicine she takes to fend off a cold lead to them seeing Honey drowsy and fear the worst with the point of the story being they learn that Alechs covered but keep it from Honey who will not remember it due to being all sleepy and chilled out.
So once I have all this I then begin to formulate my RP. I sometimes change stuff, tweak stuff and I always look at what's happened to make sure it all fits canonical.
That's one process I do. Ii was wondering what everyone else does.
Another Bonus one: I sometimes write from my outings IRL. Literally the greatest source of inspiration in my life for stories.

- Coda asking Honey if she'll believe in herself to challenge her for the title.
- Coda attacking Honey post match, Stacy saving the day
- Honey winning #1 contender for tag titles.
- Honey's upcoming Super Falcon Cup match against WCG Julianna
- Alechs suspension over and he's back on the roster
- Ainslee fired from Redemption whom gave Honey her first main event.
- Honey's upcoming match against Josh Kennedy.
And what I do is I lable each one.
- A: Coda asking Honey if she'll believe in herself to challenge her for the title.
- B: Coda attacking Honey post match, Stacy saving the day
- C: Honey winning #1 contender for tag titles.
- D: Honey's upcoming Super Falcon Cup match against WCG Julianna
- E: Alechs suspension over and he's back on the roster
- F: Ainslee fired from Redemption whom gave Honey her first main event.
- G: Honey's upcoming match against Josh Kennedy.

- A: Coda asking Honey if she'll believe in herself to challenge her for the title.
- Young Lion's Cup challenge. Josh Kennedy is 25, contender so match links to this. A:G
- Coda later attacked Honey, why? Have to decide, could be to spark Honey to challenge her. A:B
- Honey's protector Coda talks about is Alechs, whom is back. A:E - B: Coda attacking Honey post match, Stacy saving the day
- A:B already laced.
- Stacy saved Honey when historically in Redemption; Alechs does this. B:E
- Honey won a main event TV Show, building her momentum to her next match which is GOL against Julianna whom now has the main event. B:D
- Stacy arriving signals Dropkicks & Donuts to Redemption (I think name is right) which is a question mark as Honey is contender for tag titles, and Honey and Adrien won it. B:C - C: Honey winning #1 contender for tag titles.
- B:C Already laced.
- Honey and Alechs now have to fight against Damon and Aurora, Coda said Honey failed Coda by losing last time A:C
- Alechs now has a tag team title with Honey, how will he feel about her win? C:E - D: Honey's upcoming Super Falcon Cup match against WCG Julianna
- B:D already laced - E: Alechs suspension over and he's back on the roster
- B:E Already laced
- A:E Already laced
- C:E Already laced - F: Ainslee fired from Redemption whom gave Honey her first main event.
- G: Honey's upcoming match against Josh Kennedy.
- Alechs has his own singles match against Chuck whom is of age to contend. Competition between the Young Cubs? G:E
- Ainslee booked Honey in a tag match, Devlin booking Honey in a singles, confusion in Honey's mind as she has Alechs back but isn't teaming with him G:F
- Josh beat up Jonathan in the match and post match too. Honey doesn't want to risk an injury if she's successful against Julianna and goes to Eternal Lucha G:D
- Likewise, Honey doesn't want to risk injury to take her out of the recently won tag team win G:C
- Stacy quite possibly might save Honey if Josh is too bad, with Adrien to form a super alliance G:B
- BUT If that happens, Coda won't be happy about protectors, but winning may make Coda see Honey as brave.
