Jonathan Drake is seen sitting at his laprop concentration on his face. He frowns clicks a few buttons. A smile appears on his face. He is dressed in a simple pair of shorts and a green tee shirt. He looks dressed for a run and not necessarily for working on the computer
And Sell… Some people hate their day job. I couldn't be happier doing what i do. This is what I used to do. Buying and selling investments. Everyday I would wake up extra early study trends, read financial reports and decide who looked like the best winner and the biggest losers each day.
Not very fun for must but it can be very rewarding. It also takes a lot of planning focus and ethical behaviour to do it right. See to be licensed and to maintain a license there is a certain level of ethics one has to adhere to. You can't just do whatever it takes to win. Someone is always watching. Someone always reviews trends.
Jonathan stands up from his computer and heads towards the door. Follow me. This work is done the next job is just beginning.
Camera follows Jonathan out the door as he begins jogging down the street. We follow Jonathan a few minutes as he runs a route that is obvious he takes on a regular basis. He stops suddenly and turns back towards the camera.
From the finance world to the wrestling ring, seems like a stretch. One would think there has to have a connection, right. For me it's this. It's not just the running it’s the obstacles i choose to put in my way. Anyone can just run for exercise. Anyone can do the simple. I dont do simple. I cant just do simple. If i am going to do something i am going to be all in and do it right
Jonathan smiles as he stops and points in the direction he will be heading. The camera pans and we see Jonathan's path ends not in more open road but a solid wall.
Most people see me and assume i have this high and mighty attitude. That I won't be able to do what it takes to win. That's just it. I wont do whatever I can to win.
See doing whatever is the easy way out. To cheat, to lie, to steal, to take any shortcut one can to win. That's the easy way. I maintain my integrity and strive for the same championships the same fame and fortune that everyone else does. I just won't take the easy way.
Just like this path across the city. I could go around take the easy way. Which ironically is not the shortcut one would think. Im going to take the more difficult path and meet you on the other side.
With that Jonathan takes a few steps back amd runs at the wall and easily scales it. The camera watches as jonathan turns an afternoon jog into a parkour clinic. The camera then turns and fades as it begins the longer easier way around.
Camera fades back into Jonathan leaning against a different wall as if he has been waiting for a few minutes. He smiles slyly at the camera before beginning again. He starts walking towards the camera still smiling.
See the straight and narrow isn't about not winning it's about doing it the right way. I came to Redemption because it has some of the best talent out there. So when i found myself in a debate about cheating being ok I was sorely disappointed in those who felt that it was ok.
I am not ”putting” anyone on notice because that's just silly. I am however making a promise. If you think i won’t out work you then you are in for a big surprise. Since i won’t take shortcuts you can believe that i am already out working you.
I am going to become a.champion and i will do it the right way. With keeping my integrity intact. So if you feel you have to cheat to beat me just proves i am out working you. Stick around Ive got just a bit more to say.

Great question. How about my singles debut at the next Glory. I am so excited for this match. Damon Graves. One half of the longest reigning tag team in Redemption history. He is going to be a great test for me to start my career in Redemption. A current champion will force me to push myself beyond the norm.
Damon brings toughness to the ring and a track record of winning. Make no mistake the respect i bring in no way means i don't think i can win. While damon has a track record of winning. He also has a track record of taking short cuts.
