The recording starts as Alechs Aurelio goes live on his phone, out to the Redemption Wrestling fanbase. Alechs is wearing a hoodie and seems to be sweating, out for a job when he got an alert that Aurora Graves’ promo went live on the Redemption website. He watched the video and heard what she had to say, and it inspired him to cut a promo immediately there on the spot. The sun was setting in the distance as the stream goes live and people immediately begin to tune in.
“Well well, if it were just a couple of days before WrestleForce and someone from Rebel Ink decides to speak up. And in doing so, they decided to try and make an enemy of me. If that is how they want this to go down, than so be it. Just remember Ink, you asked for this.”
He smirks into the camera. Likes are flying across the screen, along with a slew of comments both positive and negative towards Alechs. He had never livestreamed anything before, but was learning fast and moving at machine gun speed with his talking.
“First off, ashamed of my past? Having to hold my brother as he died in my arms? Having to eat Ramen noodles as I made dinner for my brothers and myself, while my ma worked a late night double shift? Nah. I am damn proud of where I came from. I worked hard as hell to get where I am. But Honey? She doesn’t need to see all of that garbage. Maybe I do protect her, but I guess that is because I care. You and Damon do whatever you do for your relationship, I don’t need relationship advice from a tag team that cannot decide what names they are this week. Rebel Ink? Damage Inc? Angelz of Boredom?”
He shakes his head in disgust. What had been a friendly matchup in his mind turned ugly after Aurora’s words as they stuck inside of his head. He was shocked by her negativity and made sure to allow it to resonate to have enough ammo to make sure to put Rebel Ink on notice.
“And to think, I can remember Avery talking you both up saying how good people you both can be. I guess either he is a liar, or you are a couple of frauds. Trying to pretend to be well-meaning individuals but are actually a couple of assholes.
And all of this, coming from the best tag team out there. I mean, yeah… any team that stick around long enough will earn their due. You DID beat Avery one-on-one in NGW to win the titles. Be proud of that. And the first time around in Redemption you lost the tag titles immediately without even one defense. I guess if you high watermark is beating Blade and Hixx to keep your titles, keep on-keeping on.”
Alechs pulls the phone back and cracks his neck, trying to settle into the video a bit more as he continues to focus on Damon and Aurora. His body language still tense, obviously riled up and not afraid to show it. He was ready for a fight right there and then, and had no qualms about being a hothead in the moment.
“I was happy to come into this match, shake both of your hands, and then give you the best fight possible. But now? I wouldn’t piss on the both of you if you were on fire. Go ahead and talk about this so-called white knight all that you want. Maybe I am too protective, but that is on me. Not on Honey. For you to come out and hate on her for being positive, it shows what a bully you truly are. And as much as you claim to be better than Shields, you both are no fucking different than that narcissist. You claim to be high and mighty, and you both are nothing but bullies that want to judge people and put them down. So go ahead. Take your best shots. Because two weeks ago Honey and I were able to beat the both of you in one-on-one contests. Yeah you might not think highly of us, and you might think that Honey has some sort of easy path to a title shot because her cousin is dating the boss. But we have worked our asses off to get here to this point, and earned it in every way. It is not our fault that the other teams have fallen by the wayside, in the same sense that you would say it was not your fault you won the titles back in NGW when it was two on one. This match? It is personal. You made it personal when you decided to not attack us for our in-ring lack of experience. Or how you both have been a team much longer. But you came out and attacked us personally.
Two more days Rebel Ink. Two more days of being champions. Two more days until we face off at WrestleForce. Two more days of holding onto those titles. Two more days of thinking that you are hot shit until these two “don’t deserve to be here” Young Cubs are going to upset the both of your asses and show how a real team should treat this division. We will encourage each and every team to come hard at us. Not because we think we are better, but because we want to test ourselves and prove that we can hang with the best of them. We would never allow ourselves to feel like being champions is good enough, because our goal is to continually get better. And not to talk down to teams around the divisio. We are far from you. We are the anti-bully. Rebel Ink? They are nothing more than a big bully.
We do not maintain egos. And that will be your downfall.”
