“I should go and check on how dinner is progressing. Please mother, behave yourself while I’m gone.”
Matt gives Kayla a quick kiss then heads off towards the kitchen.
“He didn’t say I had to behave.”
Melissa laughed as she poured another glass of wine.
“I’m gonna go see if Matt needs any help.”
Kylie practically jumped out of her seat as she walked to the kitchen, almost bouncing with a giddy smile on her face. Matthew Shields walks in to the kitchen as the extra staff he has brought on for the day is busy about their work, with Reginald Ramsbottom overseeing everything.
"Reginald, how goes the preparation of the feast?"
"Everything is going quite smoothly my liege. do not worry yourself."
"Wonderous. In truth, I needed a bit of time away. I love mine family and Kayla's, but tis a bit much."
Reginald nods as he walks over to the fridge, pulls out a green bottle, opens it and hands it over to Matt.
"Relax and enjoy a cold beverage."
"Thank you Reginald."
Reginald went back to work as Matt went over to the large bay window that looked out over his property and took a long sip of his beer. As he's looking out the window, his step sister walks up behind him and grabs his ass.
"How did I know you would follow me in here? I appreciate the attention mine queen, but both of our families are in the other room."
Matt turns around with a smile on his face, but his eyes widen as he sees his eighteen year old step sister.
"Kylie, what are you doing?"
"Uhm..."
Kylie looks up at him as she bites her lower lip.
"Can I see your tattoos? They look so cool when I watch you on TV. I wanted to get a better look and maybe touch them."
"I do not believe that to be a good idea Kylie."
"Aw come on, if you show your tattoos, I'll show you mine."
Kylie pulls down her jean shorts slightly to show the bottom of a large tattoo of two roses, but Matt steps back and shakes his head.
"Kylie, you need to stop right now."
Kylie looks up at him and pouts slightly.
"It's cause I'm not pretty isn't it."
"I assure you Kylie, you are very pretty. It is because I am an engaged man."
Kylie pouts a little more as she crosses her arms across her chest and walks off, right as Matt's mother walks in.
"Please tell me you did not hit on your eighteen year old step sister."
"Mother, I would never do such a thing?"
"Really? So we're forgetting all about Courtney's friend Jessica, or her other friend Marissa, or her other friend Lisa, or my client's twin daughters?"
"That was a different time mother. I have Kayla now."
"Well thank you for not doing anything Matthew. It wouldn't have been good for a lot of reasons."
Matt's mom gives him a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek, then turns around to see Kayla standing there looking at them.
"I should get back and make sure Melissa hasn't gotten drunk and taken her dress off."
Kayla just nods as she walks over to Matt.
"What was she thanking you for not doing?"
"Twould seem that young Kylie has a bit of an infatuation with myself, and she made a somewhat forward gesture."
Kayla's eyes go wide as she looks at Matt and then back towards the dining room.
"Oh that little bitch is gonna die"
Kayla goes to chase off after her, but Matt quickly grabs her around the waist and lifts her up, kicking and punching at the air as she tries to break free.

MEANWHILE AT THE LEGION OF DOOM
Matthew Shields stands in a small dimly lit room, dressed simply in a pair of black slacks and a black tunic, his crown upon his head and the Redemption Wrestling Heavyweight title over his shoulder.
"Super heroes. It seems that they are everywhere in this society. These costumed adventurers dominate the lands of film and television. The inked exploits have seen a rise in consumption, and twould seem that it is impossible to escape their reach. Redemption Wrestling even has their own resident superhero. Now the difference between the heroes of film, television, and print, and the so called hero Jew Blazer, is that they live in a fictional fantasy world. A world where good triumphs and evil slinks away in to the shadows. Sadly for Jew Blazer, all of that is make believe. In this real world, a small pathetic man like him, will never beat a champion like myself."
Matt smirks as he looks down at the title on his shoulder, then gives it a quick little polish.
"In the real world, the lowly peasant does not topple the king. This man, because that is all he is. Simply putting on tights and a cape, does not a hero make. Perhaps if he had billions of dollars, martial arts training, an incredible car and an old English butler, but alas, he has none of those things. His greatest claim is that he and his now injured partner, held the Redemption Wrestling tag team titles for twenty eight days, and made zero successful defenses. Meanwhile, I have been the Worlds heavyweight champion for over two hundred and thirty days, and successfully defended it on five different occasions. That is a feat that no other champion can claim. I posses more successful defenses than all of the tag teams to have held those titles, combined. My total matches the successful defenses of all New Generation champions, combined."
Matt looks down at the title once more and smiles before he kisses the large gold plate.
"I have been competing at the very top of the card since I arrived in this company, while you Jew Blazer have been hovering around the middle for almost your entire career, not just in Redemption. You are nothing more than a warm up match for myself. This is an opportunity to practice some new skills and techniques before I unleash them upon Yujiro. Jew Blazer, you are nothing more than a sacrificial lamb. Now if you accept that fact, I promise that I will not hurt you too terribly. However, should you attempt some ill advised heroics, my retribution will be swift and destructive. Thing long and hard Jew Blazer, do you wish to be another in the long line of men to fall before the feet of the One True King, or would you prefer to lose gracefully and then slink away in to the shadows. The end result will be the same no matter which path you take. My victory is assured, however, that victory does not need to be accompanied by the sound of your bones shattering. Make your choice Jew Blazer, the real world, or your pathetic little fantasy."
The lights in the room now come up and behind Matt sits a shredded Superman cape, a ripped up Spiderman mask, a shattered Captain America shield, a blood splattered Batman utility belt, and several other ripped masks and capes. Matt extends his arms and the lights suddenly go out.
