(The scene opens up inside of a local bar somewhere in Montreal, QC Canada. The name unknown but it's dark and with only a few light fittings as we pan around we see just a few regular clients playing pool and drinking. A few HD TV hanging behind the bar.)
Blonde Barmaid: Hi can I help you?
Anton Chase: Yeah I'll have a whiskey
Blonde Barmaid: I haven't seen you in here before honey.
(Anton who is dressed in some black jeans, and a black blazer with a polo shirt underneath plants himself on a chair next to the bar. The barmaid has just poured him the Whiskey)
Blonde Barmaid: Here you go honey. So how long are you staying for?
Anton Chase: How do you know I've not moved here?
Blonde Barmaid: I know all types honey, I've worked here for a long time.
Anton Chase: At least you're consistent.
(Anton takes a swig from the glass of whiskey)
Blonde Barmaid: Meaning?
Anton Chase: In my line of work consistency is hard to come by.
Blonde Barmaid: What do you do?
(Anton chuckles a little)
Anton Chase: You wouldn't want to know. It's not in the norm.
Blonde Barmaid: Interesting well I do like the not so norm. So tell me?
(Anton looks up at this blonde barmaid and smirks before he speaks)
Anton Chase: I'm a wrestler.
Blonde Barmaid: Really. I've meet a few washed up wrestlers before who think they can treat people like shit.
Anton Chase: Well there are still some of them in the business. However I'm far from done.
Blonde Barmaid: How long have you been wrestling?
Anton Chase: Almost 15 years now.
(Anton takes another swig from the whiskey glass)
Blonde Barmaid: Wow have you thought about leaving? What would you do if you wasn't a wrestler.
Anton Chase: Yeah I've thought about leaving many times and once took a break from it. But it's an infectious passion. It drives me.
Blonde Barmaid: Who is your next opponent?
Anton Chase: Some loser named Johnny Maverick.
Blonde Barmaid: He does sound like a loser.
(The Blonde Barmaid starts to giggle in laughter)
Anton Chase: Well thanks for the chat sweetheart.
(Anton gulps down the last bit of Whiskey from the glass)
Blonde Barmaid: Why don't you stay for a few more?
(Anton gets up from the chair and heads towards the exit before he speaks)
Anton Chase: I'm not much of a drinker. Take care.
(As we open up we see that we are in the Bell Centre which is the venue for this Sunday's Glory show for Redemption Wrestling. As we pan around we see that the ring is ready and set up. We closely zoom in and we see Anton Chase sitting in the empty audience still dressed in the same clothing. As he sits in a chair looking into the empty ring)
"Last week I faced the much hyped Ashley Williams and I won. I picked up the victory and I continue to WrestleForce in the rags to riches tournament. A tournament I wasn't too fussed about. As I see it and that is all the time I am a champion. And if I have to go through the rags to riches tournament to get a championship then good. Even better because I get to beat opponents left, right and centre. And my next opponent is also in the rags to riches tournament, Johnny Maverick."
(Anton chase smiles)
"You see Johnny Maverick you and I are going to step into that ring right there in just a few days with momentum on both sides heading into WrestleForce. With dreams of leaving WrestleForce as rags to riches winner. But Johnny-Boy make no mistake about it last time when I was in the rags to riches tournament I wasn't focused. I wasn't interested and to be honest I didn't give a fuck. Now I do. Now I want to rags to riches title and all the rewards that go with it. And I know that this is just a singles match and nothing is on the line, but one thing is? And that's momentum. That my friend is very important and I intend to keep momentum going as long as possible and leave WrestleForce as Rags to riches winner."
(Anton pauses relaxing in the chair)
"Johnny Maverick why don't you bow out of this match completely and have the night off. Because it's either that or get beat like the bitch you truly are. And Johnny I would take this match lightly if you think you can walk into the ring with me and make a joke about it, I'll make damn sure that you won't be leaving on your own two feet."
